Here are five players that are filling the state sheet this past couple of days on the road for the beginning of July's Live Period. Each of the prospects listed below led their team's in one way or another this past weekend and they are looking to keep that rolling into this next week of Live action to end off their 2025 AAU Summer Season.

[player_tooltip player_id='884400' first='Aubrey' last='Meyer'] of Missouri Phenom - Iowa's Hub put together some impressive performances over the past few days on the road, stuffing the stat sheet in every contest she participated in. Meyer, the lengthy and versatile SF, averaged near a double-double (points-rebounds) over her few games moving into the weekend. She even had a 14 point and 15 rebounds game outing to end the first part of Running Of The Roses event in Louisville. Meyer has the chance to makes some waves back home this Winter during high school ball. She has the size and ability, she plays well off of others, she doesn't need a ton of possession with the ball to produce, and her natural size helps her compete at a few different spots - demonstrating her versatility. If she stays passionate over time, watch out cause she will be someone we hear about for years to come at the Varsity level.

There is no doubt that [player_tooltip player_id='909494' first='Emma' last='Walkup'] has a deep bag on both sides of the floor. Walkup, a 5'7 PG, is shifty, crafty, plays off of two, she makes smart choices with the rock in her hands, and she has a calculated aggression to her. She doesn't force any un-needed action looking for something isn't there. She has a great feel for the game and that shows whenever she is hooping. Over the past couple of days, Walkup is putting up 16 PPG, 3 RPG, and 2 APG. These numbers have helped her squad win some impressive games and it's noteworthy. At the next level, Walkup is going to be productive and pretty nice as an overall hooper. Within the right system, she could make some things happen at some impressive rates.

It's looking to be a big Winter ahead for [player_tooltip player_id='1268354' first='Judy' last='Bokhary'] of Roosevelt High School. Bokhary seems to have a natural skill-set. She isn't someone that plays with her opponent. She likes to get right the point and make things happen. She does a great job of stepping up when things break down within her team's systems and that should translate to the Varsity level this upcoming season. This is someone that is putting up big numbers over the last three days and frankly, this entire AAU season. I've seen this name again and again from March until now. When someone shows up that much, you know they can do some great things on the hardwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='881974' first='Emma' last='Zabel'] is a constant at the Varsity level for her high school program and I'm excited to see her doing the same this AAU season on the road. Zabel is a 6'1 Center with some soft touch, balanced coordination, respectable footwork, and discipline. She isn't the type to jump at bad pump fakes or to miss her assignment. Instead, she stays down and contests with her feet on the ground. Something that will play to her advantage in the future if she decides to compete at the next level at the end of the day.

There has been impressive scoring performances the past couple of weeks from prospects out of the state of Iowa and [player_tooltip player_id='643486' first='Jhaliana' last='Guy'] is at the top of that list as it pertains to the numbers. Last weekend Guy scored 42 in an outing in Chicago between her Mac Irving Lady Fire 16U program and Chicago Hoops Express. She accomplished this without really playing or scoring in the 3rd quarter either. Following that, Guy started off this weekend with some 25+ point performances, while also getting her teammates involved at some steady rates. Don't get it twisted though, these performances aren't just big in the number of points scored but impressive in efficiency #'s too. She is putting up these stat lines while usually playing only about half the games. Making it even more impressive. Stanford locked in a killer in Guy. She has a bright future with endless possibilities at this point. Now we will just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
