When looking at the SG position, [player_tooltip player_id='820515' first='McKenna' last='Powell'] is someone that catches the eye. A lengthy SG with coordination, fundamental skill, balance, and an act for putting in the ball in the net from deep beyond the three point line. At Lincoln North Star, it can somewhat be a mystery so I'm not sure who Powell fit into their system but if she gets a chance, she should really feast. Especially when this group has to play against zone defenses. She happens to be still uncommitted but that might not be for long depending on who throw their hat in the ring as it pertains to her recruitment.

[player_tooltip player_id='1091568' first='Leighton' last='Nyberg'] jumps off the screen with her presence. Nyberg is one of those individuals that is willing to sacrifice herself for the good of the team. She is always one of the first on the floor or into the stands for a loose ball, while being productive on the offensive side of things. Nyberg has a strong frame and she can move around. Her touch on the ball is solid and that stuff will translate to the next level one day if she gets a chance to compete following this Winter. She just needs an opportunity and the rest could be history.

[player_tooltip player_id='1268621' first='Kallen' last='Stauffer'] had a slow start to this AAU season with her [program_tooltip program_id='715717' first='Nebraska' last='Supreme'] program but after getting herself under control, she was VERY clutch with her 17U group down the stretch. At times evening helping her team win some big games against impressive opponents. How she stood out is the next impressive thing. It wasn't constantly but it's when it mattered the most and that was noteworthy. She came up big again and again some days and I'm sure she will remember that for the rest of her basketball career.

This past twelve months we have been able to see what [player_tooltip player_id='1153871' first='Maci' last='Pittenger'] can do on the floor with some talented others. Pittenger is a 5'7 SG, that has a flame thrower from deep off the catch. She can also handle the ball, handle pressure, and make smart plays on both sides of the floor to help her team win. When I have seen her this AAU season, she has looked like a D1 player at times with her ability to shoot and score with body control at the bucket. I'm not sure what offers she holds at this time but if I'm out of the Midwest, I'm offering her ASAP. Plain and simple, she is like that and she will prove it once again this Winter with her Lincoln Christian program.
