[player_tooltip player_id='985176' first='Olivia' last='Woockman'] has impressive coordination and adaptability as a PG. Not to mention that she is athletic, extremely quick, with a high motor. When Woockman gets down hill in open space, she is tough to stay in front of. She can finish in a plethora of different ways once she gets by your hip or she can counter the other way while in motion to a finish going the other way. Millard South has some promising young ballers and this is one of them. She should make an instant impact this Winter, if given the chance to see time on the varsity floor.

Bennington High School will be good for years to come with who they have coming up their ranks. Someone out of their 2029 Class, to know from this group is [player_tooltip player_id='899203' first='Emery' last='Schmidt']. Offensively, Schmidt is solid in the catch and shoot aspects of the game, she can attack and finish off the dribble when she see's an open lane, and she can pass pretty decently as well. She is definitely someone that I would consider a "grinder" on both ends. She is willing to do whatever is needed for her team to find success. When multiple players on the same roster compete like that with the same mentality, it can turn into something really special and Bennington should be in that position moving forward.

If you want to talk about promise within the young age levels in Nebraska right now, you can't miss [player_tooltip player_id='884640' first='Aubrey' last='Carder'] and what she has been able to accomplish the past twelve months. Carder is a balanced and coordinated prospect at 5'8, who has an act for making big plays when it matters the most. From everything I've seen so far out of her, Carder is the definition of a winner as her team's leader. When/If things break down, a lot of people look to Carder to save the day and she has been consistent in that for a few years now on both sides of the ball. This AAU season she did end up injuring herself at the end of the years so that will keep her out for a little while but that's just a small set back for a bigger comeback.

A name we have heard for a few years now, that we will hear until she graduates from Aquinas Catholic is SG/PG - [player_tooltip player_id='988330' first='Faith' last='Samek']. Samek is highly motivated and adaptable. She can fit within any program or system it seems while being a coordinated athlete with the ball in her possession. She also does a great job as a cutter, moving into open space and finding opportunities. I have a feeling that Samek is going to be an important piece for years to come within her program. She showed her worth during year one last Winter and I'm sure she is excited to do that once again this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='884637' first='Yirah' last='Sears'] of Bellevue West High School and ETG Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] 3SSB just received her first D1 offer this past week when UNO stepped up to throw their hat in the ring. Sears has a smart head on her shoulders, some natural height at 5'10, and she has shown steady progression over the past few years up until this point both in high school ball and on the road for the AAU season. This may be the first big-time offer for Sears but it won't be her last. She is extremely young in her basketball career and she is only going to better with more time/experience. She will have a lot of opportunity to make some plays this Winter and I can't wait to see her capitalize on that!
