[player_tooltip player_id='1131125' first='Kailey' last='Patzel'] lead the entire state of Nebraska last season in Rebounds Per Game with 17.5 each contest throughout her team's 22-game season. Patzel is a 5'10 Forward, that puts up some eye-opening numbers for her size and position. It's not every game that you see someone under 6'0 lead the state in a category like this one. Especially when you have some P4 prospects over 6'1 throughout the state as a whole. Patzel should be proud but nat satisfied. If she stays locked in moving into her Senior year this Winter, she might be able to break the 20 RPG mark, which would be absolutely insane.

Following close behind Patzel in the RPG category from a year ago is [player_tooltip player_id='1092022' first='Bella' last='Recker'] of Osceola High School. Recker is another who stands right around 5'10/5'11 and she also recorded some impressive numbers on the glass on both sides of the ball. You can attribute that to her mixture of size, smarts, touch on the ball, and willingness to mix it up with anyone that might happen to be taller than herself. As Recker is only stepping into her Junior season, there is a lot of promise here looking forward. If she plays her cards right, she will finish off her high school career as one of the best Rebounders that the state has to offer out of the 2027 Class and that is something to be proud of.

If you want to go into the paint against Centura High School, you have to know that [player_tooltip player_id='865331' first='Kennedy' last='Davis'] is going to be there waiting for you. Davis is a 6'0 SF with some outstanding athletic ability to match with her size. This helps her recored several Blocks at a time in some situations. Davis was such a good shot blocker last Winter that she ranked within the Top 3 within the entire state with just over 4.0 BPG. This number is a high and impressive one. If she can do even better this Winter, her team isn't going to let in a lot of points in general. This is a force to be reckoned with and I'm excited to see what she does for her Junior Campaign.

One of the younger and more promising hoopers out of the 2028 Class comes to us in the form of [player_tooltip player_id='1180598' first='Devyn' last='Young'] of Hay Springs High School. Young, a 6'0 Center, took the varsity stage last season as a Freshman and killed it. She put up respectable numbers in middle, scoring, rebounding, and defending like her life depended on it. She finished the year off by averaging just over 2.5 BPG, really demonstrating her worth not just as of offensive threat but as a defensive stopper in general. With Young only being a 2028 prospect, she still has three more years to make her mark on her program. If she has been working in the off-season, I'm sure her progression will be evident year-by-year.
