Here we have a handful of players that could lead the pack this Winter in multiple statistical categories while helping their team to victories night-in and night-out. Make sure to pay attention to each one of these hoopers. They have already shown a lot of promise, now it's all about building on that.

[player_tooltip player_id='817141' first='Rena' last='Rasmussen'] will return this Winter as a junior with LCC High School and she is going to be looking to build on the past two seasons. Rasmussen is a standout Volleyball prospect, while being a producer on both ends of the floor as it pertains to the sport of Basketball as well. Last Winter, Rasmussen averaged just under 20 PPG and 10 RPG in her efforts. She averaged just enough to sit with a double-double throughout her team's 24 games and that's noteworthy. I'm hoping we see more of that over the next two years. She has the physicality, athleticism, and smarts - now it's all about building on the foundation that she put together in years past.

I'm very excited to see how Malcolm returns this Winter with the addition of [player_tooltip player_id='757558' first='Halle' last='Dolliver'], UNO commit. Last season when Halle was hurt, younger sister Payton came onto the varsity squad and took over. She demonstrated on multiple occasions that she can lead her program by her actions and in production on both ends if need be. This time around though, it'll all be about balance. Payton could lead things again if confident with Halle right by her side. Which would be really cool and I'm sure a dream come true to both of these individuals. If that is the case, who knows how far they could take things come Playoff time as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='736457' first='Olivia' last='Brown'] of Bridgeport High School will be a college committed athlete in the near future if she plays her cards correctly. Brown plays the game of Basketball the right way. She knows when to take over, when to find others, and when she should try to do specific things in specific moments. With her Bridgeport team losing some of their production from last Winter due to graduation, Brown should lead their squad in a bunch of statistical categories and their team should have a good shot to make the State Tournament. Much like years past. If everyone has taken it seriously this off-season, there is a lot to like about this group. They just need to stay locked in mentally and the rest could be history.

Arlington High School will return the usual suspects of years past as they to make some waves throughout the 2025-2026 high school season. Their PG, who has been the main source of energy for years now is [player_tooltip player_id='757579' first='Emerson' last='Timm']. Timm should be ready to lead things again for one last run throughout her senior campaign. She will possess the rock every time coming down the floor, so as long as she continues to make good choices with the ball, she will standout both as a pass-first PG and as a scorer. She will have help around her as well so that should only play into the factor that this group could put together a Winter to remember.
