She knocked down an elbow pull up. She attacked to the basket. She setup a defender with a shot fake for the foul and free-throw. She ran the floor for a transition layup. A great example of stacking points.

Shania's first touch in the game resulted in a mid post face up attack with a left handed layup. Something you don't see too often from a high school 6'2 post player. Her next touch was a transition layup because she beat everyone down the floor. She is very good at facing up to pull her defender out the paint to set up an attack or to pass to a cutting teammate.

Paris stood out not by what she did at the beginning of the game but how she finished the game. When she entered the game, she impacted the game by bringing energy. She attacked the paint for a bucket with contact that excited her coach and the gym. On the defensive end, she was the lone defender against 2 players. Her opponent thought it was going to be an easy 2. She blocked the shot eliminating the bucket.

I don't know if I have every witnessed a high school player cup the ball the way Dallas does to protect it while driving. She is extremely talented and agile at getting to the paint to score. And I mean score. She is very, very efficient at putting the ball in the basket even with contact. A super athletic and high energy player.

It takes a level of maturity to rebound from a bad start. Caidyn started the game with back to back turnovers attempting to attack to the basket. Then she responded with a couple of transition layups. After settling in, she created opportunities for her teammates in transition and off of ball screen situations. Caidyn is very unselfish and a pass first point guard. She finished with 5 assists and could have easily had more. Once her teammates get comfortable with her abilities to find them, her assist totals will be in the double digits.

Only a 9th grader and already has a nice strong frame to go with her competitive and aggressive style of play. The lefty started the game with a pull up 3. Then she didn't shy away from using her strength to muscle her way to the paint.
