It can be very easy to get caught up in focusing on the top players in a specific graduating class, so occasionally I like to take the time to point out a handful of talented ladies who currently find themselves on the watch lists. Below is a look at a few such ladies who have talent, skill, and the ability to help a college program down the road.

Alli popped up on our radar this year, and she spent the Spring and Summer making her game more consistent against good competition. She is a nice athlete, she plays with speed and athleticism, and she has a wiry-strong frame plus uses her length well at both ends of the floor. She is still probably most comfortable playing off the bounce, slashing to the basket, but she does have a little touch outside when she's able to get set and find rhythm. Defensively, she can guard '2' through '4' at times, and she's excellent in trapping situations.

Mia is someone much of the state isn't terribly familiar with, but she is an intriguing wing who could have a nice college future ahead of her. She has really nice length, broad shoulders, and she's a solid North/South athlete who likes to get downhill. She does have nice touch from the perimeter, and she likes to hide in the deep wings and corners. When I've seen her, she likes to defend inside the arc a little more than around the perimeter still, but she is a quietly tough kid and a more than willing rebounder.

Rian is a part of a really nice 2027 class at East Noble, and she strikes me as a kid who could continue to grow and develop her game more effectively at the next level. She is extremely long and wiry, she looks a little taller than she is listed, and she is much more physical than she looks. She is an accurate perimeter shooter, and she has gotten more consistent as she has gotten stronger over the years. Rian plays hard, she rebounds, and she is a versatile defender. I especially like when she uses her length defensively.

I felt like Grace had a really nice Spring and Summer playing in the 17U division. She is a balanced athlete in most directions, she has a wiry-strong, athletic frame, and she tends to always compete with a nice motor. She is still more of a slasher than a perimeter shooter, but she does have a solid handle, and she can create offense for herself and teammates. She's also a versatile defender who rebounds. She reportedly transferred from Shenandoah High School to Pendleton Heights for the 2025-2026 school year.

Jordyn is a bit different than most of the girls on this list, because she is more of a strong, powerful wing prospect who uses her physicality to attack the basket. She is actually a very accurate perimeter shooter when she has space and rhythm, but she likes to body defenders and use her strength to attack the basket as well. She also has a nice little turn-around game from 15-feet. Perimeter defense is where she has needed to improve the most, and I feel like she showed improvement throughout June and July.

Taylor is another Southwestern Indiana wing prospect in the 2027 class, and she seems to get incrementally better each time I see her. She has nice length, a wiry-strong frame, and she's a fairly fluid athlete in most directions. As she has gotten older, I feel like she has also gotten more aggressive offensively, looking to score the ball more often on each catch. She is most assertive as a driver, but she has added a little touch outside as well. Taylor has also done a nice job of transitioning from defending the interior to the perimeter.
