2026 [player_tooltip player_id='747368' first='Kylee' last='Paben'] is off the board to Minnesota as the Gophers make the big pickup moving into this Fall season. Paben finished her AAU career off on a strong note, dominating her competition near the bucket on both sides of the ball on the UA Circuit. Offensively, Paben is skilled enough to hit her opponents with a number of counter moves if she is cut off or she can just go through smaller/weaker individuals that might stand in her way. I could see Paben being productive at the college level sooner than you think. She possesses all the attributes to continue to grow in this game as she gets older so we will just have to see where she takes things moving into her Senior season with Millard West this upcoming Winter.

Some might not know about [player_tooltip player_id='881948' first='Graysyn' last='Downing'] out of this 2026 Class but she is a solid overall prospect, who could put together an impactful future on the basketball over the next couple of years at the Guard position. Whenever Waterloo East has has success the past couple of years, it's usually because of Downing and her positive play. I expect Downing to have another important year this Winter. If everyone else comes correct around her, they should be able to win some more games before things come to an end for the 2026 Class.

[player_tooltip player_id='595155' first='Hailey' last='Kipp'] took one of her best offers to start this week when she committed to D2 - Quincy out of Illinois. Kipp has better than average size, strength, and adaptability. She can be used by the hoop with her back to the basket play or she can step out to screen and seal while rolling toward the hoop in one way or another. Another part of Kipp's game is that she consistently shows up. You know what you are going to get out of her each contest and that's what college coaches love to see. Reliability. That's a skill that not all possess but those who do, usually get to see the floor a lot because of it where they are at.

[player_tooltip player_id='777236' first='Baileigh' last='Uthoff'] of DSM - Valley has two years until she will reach the college level but once she gets there, she will compete with Southwest Minnesota State out of Minnesota. Uthoff can be a leader on and off of the ball when she is on the floor. I've seen situations where Uthoff has to be her team's driving source and she is very capable. It's going to be exciting how she ends up playing from here. Now that she is committed, there is a lot of stress off of her shoulders and she can lock in on just becoming the best version of herself every day. That's going to play in her favor in the long run and moving into the near future. If she comes mentality locked in this season, it should be fun to watch.

Grand View received another commitment from a 2026 prospect as of late. [player_tooltip player_id='912093' first='Avery' last='Moon'] of DSM - Valley High School is the one that locked in her future journey on the basketball court. Moon is a crafty guard, who likes to keep it simple. She would much rather go through her opponent for an easy lay up but she can also pull out some fun moves as she gets downhill off the bounce. Moon will produce at the next level. It might take a little time to adjust but it won't take long. She is someone who plays the game with a lot energy and that is going to help her thrive wherever she is at.
