iKHONICS: Future iKHONS Camp – Prospects W/ D1 Ceilings

Meyer, a 5'11 SF/CG, checks off a lot of boxes that evaluators or recruiters will have. Her natural mixture of size, strength, and skill is impressive. She moves effortlessly with the ball, while being an able scorer at any offensive level at the moment. There aren't going to be many that will be able to match Meyer over her next 4-5 years at North Linn. Joens is a 6'1 PF that has the ability to put the ball on the floor from the three point line at a higher rate than most at her size and position. You'd think at this age level and height that Joens would not be too coordinated but it's the opposite. She can kill you in every way imaginable on the floor with that coordination. She can post smaller matchups and score over them, she drive off the catch for a take with either hand going towards the bucket, and she can square up to hit jumpers from deep when she has the time and spacing for it. Not to mention, she is a menace on defense with her athletic ability + reach. Danler has great size and skill for her PG position. She looks taller/lengthier than 5'9 and she has the skill to pair along with it. She is crafty off the dribble with a sweet hesi-move and she also can create for those around her at a high rate. There were times during this event where it seems like Danler was going around everyone, as if they were just cones sitting there in-front of her. She also stepped up defensively a number of times, showing her worth on that side of the floor. All in all, this is one to know out of the 2030 Class moving forward. Maher-Hodges is athletic, a quick thinker, and extremely skilled on both sides of the ball at this moment in time. Her jumper is seeming to come along offensively and if that comes together prior to her playing Varsity ball in a few years, everyone better watch out. Maher-Hodges can blow past anyone that might stand in her way defensively off the bounce. If she stays being consistent when shooting from deep, then no one should be able to stop her over her high school career. We still have a few years until this time comes but this is definitely another hooper to keep an eye on. Duello was one of the smartest and most complete players that I had the chance of evaluating. She is coordinated going either direction off the dribble, she has several counter-moves to hit her opponent with if she is cut off, she can step out and hit three point shots when tightly contested, and she is one of the first on the floor for a loose ball when those opportunities present themselves - which all coaches love to see! Duello might not be one that stands out by her size or crazy athletic ability but overall, she is very complete in this game with a lot of promise.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
