Reps on Reps Showcase: Junior and Senior Tone Setters

Every showcase has players who dictate the pace, intensity, and expectations for everyone else. At the Reps on Reps Showcase, it was the upperclassmen who did just that. In a room with several college coaches, these prospects weren't just performers — they were tone setters, raising the level of competition, inspiring the younger players, and reminding everyone that experience still matters.    [player_tooltip player_id='738971' first='Gabi' last='Iturralde'] was confident and steady in the 3-on-3 contest, and really showed a lot of skill . The Junior point guard set the tone early and showed she can control tempo as a point guard or slide into a scoring role as a two, setting the tone on the scoreboard. With some talented additions to Tocoi's roster, Iturralde will showcase a lot more of her shooting skills at the one and and at the two position.     [player_tooltip player_id='248551' first='Alanna' last='Tatum'] was the top prospect in the building and her presence and play set the standard for everyone in the building. Tatum ran the point and was a play maker throughout the day. She shot the jumper and also dished to her teammates. Tatum used the event as a tuneup for the upcoming season and as a prelude for her announcement and commitment to East Tennessee State University.     [player_tooltip player_id='933334' first='Shelby' last='Gaines'] showed her blazing quickness and relentless attack of the rim. She was one of the toughest covers in the building and her ability to score was a spark that kept the energy competitive in the building. Gaines has truly arrived and her game is at another level.     No one matched White's physicality in the paint. Her strength, rebounding, and ability to get to the rim and finish through contact made her a tone setter from the onset. White is looking to once again solidify herself as one of the top forwards in the 2027 class.       With her high IQ and balanced offensive game, Young brought stability and poise to the floor. Her ability to lead , score, and defend made her a reliable guard on the floor. Young is use to setting the tone for the young players. Her effort is always at its peak and its a standard for young players to emulate.     [player_tooltip player_id='221598' first='Trinity' last='Berry'] set the stage with her competitiveness. Whether its 3 x 3 or 5 x 5, Berry is a competitor and is going to give every ounce of effort. Berry was one of the best shooters and scorers in the building. She has the ability to shoot the three and also get downhill and to the rim. Berry's scorer's mentality set the offensive tone. She was aggressive and confident, and made sure the defense couldn't relax for a possession.     [player_tooltip player_id='633529' first='Mia' last='Chandler'] set the tone from the onset with her defensive abilities. Chandler showed versatility defensing in the paint and also on the perimeter. Her ability to switch out in space and cover guards on the perimeter or forwards in the paint set the defensive tone. Coaches were watching and soon as the even ended, Chandler received an offer from the host school- FSCJ. She brought intensity on the defensive end and on the offensive side, she showed the versatility with her ability to score on the inside and step out behind the arc and connect on the three.     [player_tooltip player_id='514544' first='Narissa' last='Blocton'] set the tone on the defensive end with steals and blocks. She got to the rim at will and scored all day long on fast breaks. Blocton has quick hands and gets up on the ball handlers to take away their strengths. She is that player you call when employing a man to man defense or box in one. Blocton is long and has active hands.       Alyssa Hallmen really shined during the scrimmages at the Reps on Reps Showcase. Hallman's relentless pursuit of the basket set the stage early for the opponents. Hallman showcased scoring on all three areas of the floor. She can shoot the three and if you cloise out too fast, she will get by the defender.    These players didn't just blend into the showcase — they set the tone. Their Junior and Senior leadership, maturity, and competitiveness reminded everyone that upperclassmen were present , and they showed exactly why they'll be key figures this upcoming season.
