[player_tooltip player_id='773188' first='Nya' last='Anderson'], Bonner Springs - After earning honorable mention honors following the 2024 season Anderson picked up Frontier League second team last season. She is a solid catch and shoot three point threat, has solid speed with the ball and finishes well against challengers. I tabbed her as one of my top, open-court defenders following the 2024 I-35 Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='544004' first='Amaya' last='Burris'], Bonner Springs - Burris is a returning Frontier League honorable mention selection primed for a big senior season. A measuring stick match-up with Fort Hays State University Commit [player_tooltip player_id='634243' first='Arika' last='Feldman'] showed me she was already near that caliber. She defends basket attacks and jumpers smartly and with extension, transitions well with speed and shoots the perimeter shot with elevation and a quick release.

[player_tooltip player_id='880997' first='Kimberlynn' last='Combs'], Neodesha - The Blue Streaks reached the 3A state tournament last year. Sitting courtside for their quarterfinal loss I saw how much not having Combs athleticism, experience and interior strength on the floor. An injury caused her to missed the entire 2025 season following a 2024 that found her earning second team Tri Valley League and 3A honorable mention honors from KSHSAACovered and Sports In Kansas.

[player_tooltip player_id='904762' first='Addie' last='Fulscher'], Free State - Fulscher is a scrappy defender and tone setting floor general. The returning two-time Sunflower League honorable mention selection, and Sports In Kansas 6A honorable mention, is very adept at making defenders pay from the perimeter and off the bounce with any misstep made.

[player_tooltip player_id='525604' first='Hope' last='Hughes'], Pratt - Hughes returns following a season where she picked up Central Kansas League second team and 4A honorable mention selections by KSHSAACovered and Sports In Kansas. Hughes has long been known as a athletic and consistent all-around player. Frequently double-teamed, face guarded and the focal point of some extra physical play this past summer Hughes has strong instincts and is always on the move. She scores well from the mid-range, catches and finishes well and can hit the three ball off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='544011' first='Laila' last='Johnson-Berndt'], Shawnee Mission South - The second highest ranked prospect in the class is a two-time Sunflower League honorable mention selection. A fast, athletic talent with quick feet and good hops Johnson-Berndt uses a variety of moves to create shots in the mid-range and around the hoop.

[player_tooltip player_id='982110' first='Micah' last='Kirkwood'], Shawnee Mission South - After transferring from Grandview (MO) ahead of the 2025 season Kirkwood picked up honorable mention honors in the always tough Sunflower League. The speedy, very quick floor leader is also a perimeter shooter that uses her shooting to exploit defenders to get to the hole explosively.

[player_tooltip player_id='925124' first='Erin' last='Lopez'], Coffeyville - Lopez is a returning Southeast Kansas League honorable mention selection who has the potential to have a big season. Given she picked up a 100m third place and 200m fourth place at the 2025 Kansas State Track & Field Championships you could say she brings serious speed with the ball. And at speed she finishes well with either hand. Watch for her mid-range scoring, leadership running the break and quickness defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='391433' first='Rylee' last='Myers'], Dighton - The lone 1A Div II senior attending, Myers was not selected to a Northwest Kansas League team after being named honorable mention in 2024. That fact is very misleading. The hardworking and athletic guard has strong handles, creates well an is a credible three point threat. Strong handles, creates well, credible three point threat. Athletic, quick take from the wing to finish. Like her frame.

Wills is a reliable spot-up shooter and player who is unafraid to take on a scoring role as well as the distributor. Defensively she has a nose for the ball defensively and sharp awareness for working trapping and full court pressure situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='827723' first='Thasanee' last='Wilmeth'], Trinity Academy - Following last season Wilmeth finally got the statewide recognition I knew she deserved. The Central Plains League second team selection picked up 3A honorable mention honors from KSHSAACovered and Sports In Kansas. She flat knows how to score and is savvy at setting up defenders to create a lane to the basket. Handling the ball strongly in transition Wilmeth's head is always on a swivel.
