To end the month, I'd like to use my final article of September to highlight a few names before we continue discussing the events from this past weekend in Appleton. We'll highlight four players I'd like to discuss in the rising senior class who haven't committed to play at a school in college at this time. They are all players who could make an impact at the next level, and I'd like to highlight what they bring to the table and what they could do for a program.

[player_tooltip player_id='842237' first='Andrea' last='Waldera']

The Blair-Taylor forward is a multi-sport athlete who was a prominent piece of the Wildcats group that played in the 2023 D5 State Title game. Waldera is a rangey frontcourt player who has developed into one of the more intriguing frontcourt prospects in her class. She is a mobile player who is among the top defensive frontcourt players in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275665' first='Destiny' last='Webster']

The Notre Dame guard is a player who took a significant leap in her junior season as a Triton. She handled the ball well and helped orchestrate her group's offense each time down the floor. Her ability to handle the ball under pressure elevates her group around her. She was also a threat to score the ball each time down the floor. If she wants to pursue basketball at the next level, she will help a regional program win games in her time in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='533086' first='Kylie' last='Pieper']

A knee injury in the summer of 2024 kept her off the court for an extended period. Pieper is a player who could excel in her senior season with a new look Pewaukee group. Her ability to defend has always helped her earn minutes, but she could show a more expansive offensive game than people thought she had. I've been a fan of hers for years, and she could make a significant impact on another talented Pirates group.

[player_tooltip player_id='595865' first='Molly' last='Olson']

Olson is a player who contributes to winning in any team she plays in. The Albany/Monticello guard plays hard on both ends of the floor and is willing to put her body on the line to help her team win games. Olson is also a threat to knock down shots from the three-point line and has been a consistent shooter since beginning her high school career. She will find minutes because of how she approaches her minutes on the floor.
