DCDHS Fall League Shout-Outs Pt 2

She had a very impactful day at the DCDHS Fall League. Kelsey worked hard to secure rebounds and had multiple on the offensive end. She finished well off two feet and pushed the ball with both hands in transition. Kelsey maintains good balance when she catches passes on the move and plays with toughness. She out-muscled defenders inside to secure high percentage rebounding and scoring opportunities. Taryn finished offensive rebound put-backs, pinned defenders in front of the rim to catch entry passes, and scored effectively with both hands off two feet. Taryn scored floaters with right and left hand after using spin moves to create separation. She sprinted back to prevent transition scoring opportunities, pushed the ball in transition to create points, worked hard to maintain defensive positioning through screens, and secured rebounds. She drained another triple from the corner, got her palm on a shot attempt in the post to cause a jump ball, and dropped in a soft floater after a spin move. Sophie drove past defenders using a crossover to score a layup and had a solid day for Groves at the DCHS Fall League. Harlem created driving lanes with her quick change of direction dribble combinations and finished a hard drive with a tough and-one layup. She looked inside and dished accurate passes into the post. Ma'Lia changed directions and created driving lanes using quick crossover dribbles. She accelerated down the baseline to score a layup and converted a strong and-one finish going full speed to the basket. Ma'Lia took a defensive rebound coast-to-coast and dropped in a tough floater over a defender.
