BREAKOUT CANDIDATE
[player_tooltip player_id='743641' first='Kaylin' last='Kathmann'], 2027, 5-8 CG, Batesville H.S.
- Kaylin has started the last two seasons for Batesville, so she's not necessarily going to sneak up on anyone. However, statistically, she could very well double several of her stats following the graduation of a strong 2025 class. Kaylin is long, wiry-strong, fluidly athletic, and she had a great Spring & Summer grassroots season. She does a really nice job of creating offense, and she is a quality defender as well.

ON THE RISE
[player_tooltip player_id='756244' first='Courtney' last='Mathew'], 2027, 5-10 CG, Rensselaer Central H.S.
- Courtney was a standout for Rensselaer's Class 2A State Runner-Up team last year. She followed that up with a strong Spring & Summer on her grassroots team, and now she takes on a leadership role for the Lady Bombers this Winter. Courtney is long, athletic, and skilled. She has good vision, a solid handle, and she can score it a little from all three levels. Most importantly, she is an elite on-ball defender.

TOP NEWCOMER
[player_tooltip player_id='1351120' first='Nyla' last='Barnes'], 2027, 5-2 CG, Decatur Central H.S.
- Nyla is new to our watch list this cycle, and she could also qualify as a potential breakout candidate for the 2025-2026 season for the Lady Hawks. She is a tough-nosed, quick, and shifty little guard who does a bit of everything. She is a very good perimeter shooter who likes to work off the ball to get open and find rhythm jumpers. At the same time, she can handle & facilitate, plus she's a good defender.
