I'm really hoping that [player_tooltip player_id='1169794' first='Emma' last='Ryder'] is going to make this event as I want to see what she can do against the competition level that will be present. Ryder is a 6'1 Center our of the 2029 Class, who will be in the conversation for being a Top Five prospect out of this Class in general at the end of the day if she plays her cards right. Ryder is only going to be a Freshman but she is going to a handful within her Class and conference. Her natural height and skill is already better than most post players the state has to offer so if she grows within her ability over-time, watch out. She might end up closer to the #1 spot out of the 2029 Class than anything else but we will have to see.

[player_tooltip player_id='835415' first='Presley' last='Zeutenhorst'] didn't play this AAU season. Instead, she locked in while training, trying to become a little better each day. Well this event is going to help us understand the work that PZ has put in. She has always been a sound player overall with some college level skill in some aspects of the game. If she has built onto that, she should be a shoe-in for some major minutes this Winter at SE Polk. The SE Polk Rams will lose most of their production from year's past so there will be ample opportunities to start the season. If players like PZ can show their worth early on, I'm sure they will like where things take them over the next couple of years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1090884' first='Hayden' last='Keith'] is an underrated prospect out of the 2029 Class. Keith is not someone that many have heard of because she plays small-town AAU and small town high school ball for the most part but trust me, she can go. She is a lethal shooter off the catch from deep, she can handle and create or she can handle and facilitate, she can defender her own position pretty well, or she can move off the ball as a screener/cutter. There is going to be a lot of talented 2029's in the building for this event and this is another one to note before things kick off.

[player_tooltip player_id='957815' first='Lydia' last='Hansen'] dominates her competition in high school because of her size, touch, and position compared to her competition. Hansen stands above most at 6'1 and that helps her feast on both sides of the ball as as producer. At this event, there will be 2-3 others that are 6'1, who can also play a little so how she matches up again these types of players is important in my eyes. It's not everything but it will definitely help us understand the landscape of some of the Post players in this State before we get to the high school season this Winter. All in all, if Hansen plays her game and only worries about what she can control, she will be just fine.

There are a lot of questions this Winter at Mt. Vernon as the Mustangs are coming off of a 3A title and bringing in a new coaching staff but something that won't be a question is the prospects they return. Someone out of their 2028 Class, who should get some more opportunity this Winter is [player_tooltip player_id='883553' first='Quinn' last='Pershing']. Pershing didn't play a ton last Winter but that makes sense with who their roster was. This year, she should have more of chance for consistent minutes through and through. This is someone that has put up and made over 100K shots in her career in training sessions so she knows how to put the ball in the basket. She just needs some time and opportunities. At this event we should be able to see what QP can really do. She needs to play with confidence in herself but if that happens, she should thrive!
