De La Garza showed up and out in the 3 on 3 by applying heat defensively. She falls into that #sizedontmatter group but she's heady and understands how to not only beat the offensive player to the spot but her quick hands got her some steals. She showed the slight HEZ to score off the dribble, yet her first step was equally impressive, as was her finishing with either hand. She saw the floor well across the board and dropped the jumper, "catch and shoot" included

Hines also created some excitement in the 3 on 3 and seeing herblow by the defender and finish acrobatically at times was nice. She's also i that #sizedontmatter group yet her athleticism on both ends was a huge plus as she applied baseline to baseline pressure and picked some pockets but she also got steals by playing the passing lane. Her court vision looked good, so did her first step to score off the dribble and when she gave me the "catch and shoot" multiple times, I just SMH

Sanchez was one of the most exciting guards at the event and seeing her apply "on the ball" pressure in the half and full court was nice but what was nicer were the numeorus times she tied the ball up with her defense. She dove on the floor for loose balls, she zig-zagged by defenders in transition and her crossover to score dropped the mic. She saw the floor across the board and dropped the jumper proving #sizedontmatter when you can play

Cooper rhymes with Super Duper and her steadiness on both ends during the 3 on 3 was just a warm-up as she facilitated nicely and set her teammates up for good looks. When the "bright lights" came on, aka 5 on 5, her "on the ball" pressure was smothering at times yet seeing her go full speed with the ball, SWB, while being pressured and staying under control was huge as she went coast to coast to score or dish. Her jumper looked good, stop and pop, as well as "catch and shoot", and she scored off the dribble. Oh yeah, she played the passing lane

Kolhe has shown me "on the court" progression every season since middle school and if I had a Most Improved squad from before HS to now in her class, she would be on it. I remember telling her she needed to be more agressive on both ends after last season PGH Showcase see evaluations here and she has answered nicely. Her finishing strongly after contact, with either hand, as well as her "on the ball" pressure has shot up. She's rebounding better, her timing also looked good as she blocked a few shots and picked some pockets. She played the passing lane, she saw the floor and she shot the ball from outside with confidence, with a hand in her face

Phillips "set it off" last season at the PGH Sophomore ID Showcase see evaluations here but keep in mind she's a "long and athletic" guard and has a variety of offensive intangibles to keep defenders off balance. Her body control on her finishes after contact were nice, yeah her first step got it started plus she can drop the jumper ala pull up, stop and pop, as well as "catch and shoot" , all while being defended from mid to long-range. She has UPS to rebound, she goes AFTA everything off the rim, or block shots. She defended both in and outside the paint and saw the floor well
