Known for defense, Duval will be a ring leader of a Lady Yellowjacket squad that will be getting after it on that end of the court. She also looked strong on offense. Impressed with her shifty movements. Has improved quickness and handles. Killer crossover, and ability to stop on the dime made her one of the toughest covers in the gym. Looks ready to elevate her scoring. Which will be needed at Choctaw will need big buckets to run the 6A gauntlet to make their first State Tournament since 2022.

As always, the motor never stops for Stewart. From high pointing defensive boards and immediately pushing it in order to set up teammates. To being a shark on defense by quickly ripping away the ball when an opponent brought it low off a rebound, she was everywhere and doing everything. Her passing in particular was impressive. While there was some wildness, Stewart and fellow senior Leyva where both big time distributors for LCS.

Took it to one of the best defensive teams in Class 6A. Is a handful off the bounce, with tight handles and long strides to knife to the rim. Routinely made tough finishes through contact at the basket. Can step out and hit the three ball as well. Complete package as a scoring guard with a sky high ceiling. Instantly has helped turn the Lady Roughers into a State Tournament contender in 6A.

Big time shot maker for the Lady Spartans. In the closing moments of a tied scrimmage against LCS, Wernli stayed calm, set up her defender and drilled a stepback three for the win. Shot it lights out from three throughout that contest. Even on a balanced and deep squad, the Lindenwood bound squad is a clear go to scorer. Should be the first of many heroics for her this year, as Bixby looks to make their 6th straight 6A State Tournament.

Outstanding impact on defensive. Smothered guards on the ball by either locking up guards herself, or helping to trap. Erased shots at the back end too, with her plus wingspan, good athleticism and great motor. Kept it simple but effective on offense, rolling to the hoop for scores. While also hitting the offensive glass. Mika and her twin sister Jada were rewarded for their high energy efforts by picking up offers from Tulsa. Who had two coaches at most of their games. Expect Davis to soar even higher this winter.

What's a better 6th woman for a team than a gritty guard who does whatever is needed for her team? Murray is a battler on defense and an energy giver on offense. Fought through waves of pressure in a Saturday afternoon match up. Showcasing good handles, then the strength, balance and toughness to finish at the rim. Generally took good care of the ball, making the right reads when she drew doubles. One instance stood out when she saw a trap approaching and she whipped an one handed pass with accuracy and velocity from near half-court to a teammate by the rim. Another super sophomore in the big time Class of 2028 in Oklahoma.
