Team 3 of the MOKS EXPO was the team that had the most grit and physicality. This squad was the group of girls who got after it! These girls always gave themselves a chance by giving that extra effort. For the upcoming season, any schools playing against these girls will have to make sure they eat their Wheaties before the game.

Ryann was the most athletic player at the showcase this weekend. You can instantly see that she plays more than 1 sport. Ryann has the perfect mixture of physicality and skill. She attacks the boards relentlessly and has a solid jump shot from long range. She can run the floor for days with ease, and she dives on the floor for those 50/50 loose balls. More importantly, she shows good leadership as well on the floor. Ryann is the type of player who is always in the play, no matter how far away she is from the ball. If you're a head coach going against her, it is going to be a headache and a half to game plan against.

The thing that was most impressive about Reniah was how well she played as each game went on. With each scrimmage and as each minute went by, it was like she got stronger and stronger. She seems to me like a player who would excel in the 4th quarter of games. Her cardio seems to be at max level at all times and then hits the turbo boosters when everyone else starts to get tired. She plays assertively, and she stays active in the paint. She has good overall mechanics with a nice spin move off her pivot foot in her bag as well.

You can tell Jaelynn has a high IQ for the game. She understands when to cut to the basket and also when to make screens without anyone telling her. She's a very unselfish player and is naturally a good passer. She can fit any system.

Grace is great at using angles off the glass to score. She always has active hands in the passing lanes on defense and is a good overall defender. She can slide her feet well and uses her length well against defenders. She communicates on the court and on the bench. She understands the game to the point where I believe she can contribute at all 5 positions in some manner, even if it's just for a few plays. During the showcase on offense, she displayed great footwork by doing a "Dream Shake" underneath the basket, while stopping on a dime off the dribble. It almost had me on the floor with that move! It's not often I get to see a "Dream Shake" again. I'm not sure if she knows what she did or even where the "Dream Shake" came from, but nice work either way.

Mikenna is a Point/Two-guard who actively looks for her shot amongst the trees and always stays aggressive. I like how she doesn't back down from a challenge and doesn't hold the ball in her hands for too long trying to score. She makes quick decisions and gets the ball out of her hands one way or the other. She'd be great for fast-paced offenses.

Amiley has a lot of upside as a guard. She can do a little bit of everything pretty well. Amiley is like a Swiss Army knife and is much taller than her listed height. On offense, once she finds her spots on the court, she will be dangerous. She seems to like doing most of her work in the mid-range on both ends of the court. That's where her offense seems to come from, and her defensive digs at the ball come from there also. If you're a coach, that's probably the area of the floor where she can excel. The best part is, she seems to have a great attitude and feel for the game in general. She has the hustle and the grind already in her bag.
