As the first week of the 2025-2026 season nears its end, the emergence of some young prospects is becoming crystal clear. These young guns have always shown a flicker of how good they were going to be, and now the light is fully on. The potential label has been replaced with a consistent one, and these players are now balling on a regular basis. The talent has broken through, and their games now look like polished veterans.

[player_tooltip player_id='400818' first='Kennedi' last='Tatum'] knocked down 4 threes in one game this week to earn player of the game. Then she comes out and helps lead Potters House to a victory against Power House Bolles. Tatum is a clutch young player who plays well in the big moments. Sometimes it's a defensive play - like a steal and coast-to-coast layup through contact. The sophomore guard is a playmaker who makes game-changing plays and it's not just sometimes. Her game has grown to the point where you know she is going to make something happen - as she did against Bolles in the "game of the week".

[player_tooltip player_id='1136120' first='Justice' last='Alderman'] had the three-ball rolling earlier in the week against Creekside- knocking down 4 threes and finishing with 17 points. Alderman shoots the three ball with great range and great touch, and most importantly, with great confidence. The young guard can also get downhill and get to the basket and score.

[player_tooltip player_id='1151383' first='Ruby' last='Patterson'] hit the thirty-point mark, and that has almost become the nightly expectation. The young guard dominated over the summer camps and into the Fall. She can drive the ball, handle the ball, and shoot it from anywhere on the floor. Patterson is a three-level scorer who can score with the best of them. The Sophomore has emerged as one of the top players in her class.

Juday Smith was in the starting lineup for her very first high school game and made some nice plays on night one. The young guard ran the point, played off the ball, and showed flashes of brilliant play. Her ability to score at all levels was evident, and her defense was also on point. Smith connected on a few drives to the basket and in the midrange in the painted area. Smith showed promise as early as the summer and has emerged as a main player in Creekside's plans for this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1249017' first='Angelina' last='Laudicina'] continued her strong play and has emerged as one of the main weapons on this veteran Bolles team. Laudicina has the ability to score at all levels and does so with high IQ on display. She does a good job of helping out in press break, can rebound well, and is one of the top young players in the State. Defensively, the young baller can block shots and cover players on the wing and also in the paint.

Londyn Tatum played like a senior veteran against powerhouse Bolles and made splash play after splash play. Tatum connected on the three, had key steals and conversions, and attacked the rim and scored through contact. Tatum made the plays that shifted momentum. She is athletic and can impact a game on offense, defense, or in transition. Londyn had a great summer and Fall and has emerged as the most reliable young players in her class.
