We have a few days before the games start up again after Thanksgiving, but that means we have some time to highlight some more players who impressed during this past week of games. There are plenty of players who've had standout performances, but we'll look at some players who aren't as well-known as others yet.

[player_tooltip player_id='1264437' first='Kinley' last='Peterson']

Peterson is a fresh face at Fox Valley Lutheran and had a solid start to her first high school season in Beaver Dam. Peterson demonstrated her ability to play both on and off the ball at the high school level and be effective. She spaced the floor well away from the ball and knocked down a handful of perimeter jumpers. She also recorded five assists in the Foxes' win over Cuba City in Beaver Dam.

[player_tooltip player_id='879596' first='Hattie' last='Grishaber']

The Little Chute guard is a player who can crash the glass on both ends of the court. Grishaber recorded a double-double against Green Bay East and did a little of everything offensively. She knocked down a perimeter jumper, attacked the basket off the dribble, and recorded a few offensive rebounds in her minutes on the floor. I didn't know about Grishaber coming into season, but she's had a nice start to her first season of high school basketball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1241208' first='Rylee' last='Reese']

The Amery guard is an athletic player who can make plays at the point of attack defensively and jumpstart her team's transition offense by creating live-ball turnovers. She has the foot speed to stay in front of talented guards and keep them from being comfortable with the ball in their hands. Reese has had a solid start to her sophomore campaign for her Amery group. Her ability to defend at the point of attack will help her group swing games over the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1232213' first='Peyton' last='Cochenet']

Cochenet has been the early-season breakout player of the year and has been just what Mukwonago has needed the last few seasons. The 6'1 wing is a solid athlete who can push the ball up the floor, defend anyone, block, or contest shots, score around the basket, and handle the ball in half-court sets. She's recorded a pair of double-doubles against respectable teams in Edgerton and Waterford, and will be a player who can help take Mukwonago to another level than they've been at in the last few years. She's one to watch for the rest of the season.
