We have been waiting for [player_tooltip player_id='667440' first='Dylan' last='Peterson'] to commit for some time now and that time has finally come as Peterson has been locked in to compete at the next level with Iowa Central (Juco) following her Senior season at Waukee NW. Peterson can be a game changer when she has confidence. I've seen her become priority #1 at collegiate camps and showcase events over the past few year's so I'm excited to be able to see what she will be able to put together. This is a guard that has a better the average handle, she can control everything under pressure, she has a solid shooting stroke from deep with a lot of knowledge of the game when it comes to strategy. If Peterson can work on her weaknesses and build on her game over the next few years, she should end up somewhere respectable by the time she leaves Iowa Central.

[player_tooltip player_id='557354' first='Jenica' last='Lewis'], the top prospect out of the State of Iowa for years now, has recently committed to Norte Dame for her foreseeable future following this Winter season. Lewis is a Top 25 player in the Country out of the 2026 Class for a reason. She is a born winner, who has a five-star play-style. She is PG #1 a majority of the time being a top notch distributor but don't get it twisted, she can also score herself at a high rate from all offensive levels. Defensively, she is solid. She can stick in front of most opponents, no matter their speed or size. It will be interesting how Lewis fits into the Irish's program over the next four years with who else they will bring in and who else they will return. The Fighting Irish has one of the top 2026 recruiting Classes that the Country has to offer so if they can put the pieces together, opponents better watch out.

We haven't mentioned Miami Martinez of Elkhorn North yet over the past few years but she was recently offered from an NAIA program within the state of Nebraska and that is noteworthy. Martinez is a PF/C, that is known for making the most out of her situations. She hasn't been someone that is always on the floor at all times but when she is in, she makes sound choices, she is a heck of a teammate, and she is pretty efficient in her overall play. The school that offered Martinez is Doane. A program that is on the up and up looking towards the future with the prospects they are getting to commit to them. We will see how all of these prospects are used. If done in the correct way, this should be a system that does some work this year and moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='777225' first='Katie' last='Muller'] of Dowling Catholic is going to be in the conversation for the #1 player out of her 2027 Class this season with her consistent progression over the past six months on the travel floor. Muller is a 6'2 SG with a ton of promise in this sport. She can light the nets on fire from deep with her shooting stroke or she can attack off the dribble to get to a more favorable position offensively. Defensively, with her size she can stick to her position or switch onto a Post/Forward, if needed. Which demonstrates her versatility on both sides of the ball, especially defense. As of most recently, Muller took a visit to K-State to see what the Wildcats are all about. I'm not sure if this is where she will end up but it did look like she had a great time with the staff & current players on roster.

We recently mentioned [player_tooltip player_id='759113' first='Justine' last='Tcheuhchoua'] in an article about Omaha North High School and what they might bring to the floor this upcoming season but it's important to note that Tcheuhchoua just committed to a D1 college down-south, where she will join up with her older sister who is currently their on roster. Tcheuhchoua is a post player with presence. She is good with her back to the basket with timing and space but at the same time, she can make something happen out of no where if need be. She defends her position and the middle of the lane really well and that shouldn't change up over the next few months so hopefully she can take this confidence with her down south to the next level when that time comes.
