Combining with her older sister Kiyah to lead Westmoore to a 4-1 mark and 2-0 in District play. She's an athletic guard, with the rare comb of rebounding like a forward while also covering smaller, quick guards. Offensively, she's picking her spots with timely threes. And impressive ball fakes and dribble moves to score herself or create for teammates. Her floor vision is particularly impressive. Hard to contain off the dribble, because not only can she get all the way to the rim to score. She has a very good 8-12 foot range game, with floaters, mid-ranges jumpers and more. She opened the season with a double double against Drummond. In a quality win over Okarche, she went for 16 points and 5 rebounds. Showing her ruggedness around the rim. She's strong with the ball on offense, and hunts for blocks on defense. In a blowout win over Burlington, she showed the range form deep while going off from 20 points. Johnston' lived up top her rep as a floor spacer with deep range in these clips. While also importantly showing the improvement she's making to work on the defensive end to be a two way impact player. Even successfully took a nice on the ball charge by beating a ballhandler to the spot. Shoots it well from three with a nice compact and clean release. An athletic guard, she's bit of a Swiss Army Knife. Her athleticism and energy translates into blocks, steals and hustle plays. When left open from three, she can make the defense pay as a spot up threat.
