Amayah can score the ball at will. She is very good at creating her own shot possibly breaking a few ankles as she accelerates to the rim. She also can spot up and shoot high percentage shots at different areas all over the floor. Leena loves the ball in her hands and handles the ball with confidence. She is flashy with her moves and does an excellent job of knowing when to use certain moves. If you watch her play in the high school ranks and then watch High Point play at the collegiate level they go hand in hand. Ally is a smart high IQ player that can score off the bounce and create her own shot but also does a great job of moving without the basketball. Her backdoor cuts led to two points and often even three points the old-fashioned way because she knows how to use and angle her body to finish with contact. Blythe does a little bit of everything well. She is one of those kids you can put on the floor and ask her to do anything, and she will get the job done. One of the things that impresses me the most about Cunningham is her basketball smarts. She knows where to be on the defensive side of the ball whether she is guarding the ball, one pass away in denial or two passes away and in help side. She is athletic and can really elevate high up over her defenders to knock down a nice mid-range jumper. Jakayla has several one on one moves in her repertoire that include spin moves, cross overs and behind the back dribbles. One of the top defenders in state with six steals per game. She is a game changer on the defensive end and that helps create her offense. Gabby can get the ball up the floor quickly and does a great job of pushing the ball out and limiting dribbles. She can find the correct angles and create her own shot getting to the basket or she can split the defenders and create a pass for her teammates. She sees the floor well and can deliver a pass off two feet from penetrating and pitching, but is also tall enough and strong enough to make skip passes across the court.
