Owasso has been on the up swing in January, with a couple signature wins against Class 6A foes. It started with a 23 point, 5 rebound and 6 block performance in a win against district foe Union. Then a few days later, she went for a double double in a victory over Edmond North. That performance was a full stat sheet stuffer with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 6 blocks and 6 steals.

The high motor forward has started to find her groove this month. As long term injury last year led to a shaky start for her and the Rams. But with her ability to rebound and defend, the future is looking bright for Hill and the Rams. She's mobile and tough, giving her ability to cover some guards while also battling in the paint. Especially as she's regained her impressive vertical lift for boards and blocks. Continuing to improve her jumper will be one of the next steps in her development.

Dennis has had a strong stretch this January, featuring wins over Edison and Tuttle, along with a close battle against district foe Booker T Washington. She's a dynamic guard, who brings experience as a starter on back to back 5A State Tournament reams. This year she's combined her athletic scoring ability with full stat sheet performances. Including 18 points, 6 boards, 5 assists and 4 steals vs Edison. Against Tuttle, she went for 21 points. Then in a battle with an athletic Booker T squad, she put up 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Her ability to create for others off her drives is a big step forward. Dennis has been offered by nearby Northeastern State.

The electric guard recently poured in an insane 42 points vs Berryhill. In that contest she had it going every which way. Pull up threes, spot up threes, ankle breaking crossovers and more. At the rim she's like a pin ball, able to bounce off contact and still finish. Also has a very nice floater to score over taller defenders. "Yaya" has always been a fun, up tempo guard to watch. But with the graduation of Glenpool's top scorer, she has taken the scoring reigns and flourished. Has the Lady Warriors firmly in contention for a Class 5A State Tournament appearance.

After a loss to 4A Kingfisher during a holiday tournament, Howe has won six straight. Including wins over fellow top 10 Class 2A teams, Latta and Hartshorne. In that win over Free went for 18 points in big 2A clash win over Hartshorne, including 4 threes. She stayed red hot when they beat top Class A Quinton, with the senior producing 17 points and recording an eye popping 8 steals. Free's sharpshooting and senior urgency has helped the Lions to the number 2 ranking in Class 2A. They're looking to reach the Class 2A State Tournament for the 11th straight season.

The Lady Pirates have now claimed three in season tournament titles. First they took down 3A's top team Washington to win the Dale Boomarang Classic in December. They closed that month with Anderson beating her former school (Carl Albert) along with two of the biggest schools in the state, Bixby and Union. Earning Dale the title at the Tournament of Champions. At ToC, she averaged a double double for the three games, with 12.3 points and 11.7 rebounds. Then a narrow win over 4A contender Broke Bow, earned them the Kingston New Year's Classic. In that title game, Anderson went for 19 points and 8 rebounds.

Anderson is one of top the guards in the state, because she has amazing handles and is tough to cover off the bounce. But the grit she is showing as a rebounder and defender for the Lady Pirates could be crucial in the top ranked Class 2A squad finishing the job this year. As after adding to their trophy case in 2023, they were runner ups in 2024 and lost in the semifinals in 2025.

The freshman already has her name in the Oklahoma record books, as she went for 51 points in a January win over Geary. She's a silky shooter from deep, which is fitting considering her family. Her older brother Hunter is a junior, and won State last year. While her father Jacob, who coaches Calumet boys, scored 2470 career poins. Calumet is now 7th in Class B1, with a 12-4 record.

The Zodrow sisters are leaders for last year state tournament team, Keys. They've won 4 straight to improve to 10-5 and move to 7th in the Class 3A rankings. Paizlee has been producing this month including 20 points, 5 assists, 7 steals vs Morris to start off Warner Tournament. She followed that up with 6 steals highlighting her statline in a blowout win over Eufula. The title game against hosts Warners was a defensive battle, with Keys winning 36-30. Zodrow kept being a nuisance on defense with 4 steals, while adding 7 points, 4 boards and 2 assists. Also a softball standout, the eastern Oklahoma gem is one of the top overall athletes in the state.
