led Pawhuska to Mike Kerr Classic title in Morrison. In the title game win, she scored 33 points while also playing lock down defense on Pawnee's best player. For the tournament she was her usual stat sheet stuffing self, averaging double figures in rebounds and steals. Including a ridiculous 16 steals to start the tournament. Miles plays the game with relentless energy and heart, while also being one of the most athletic guards in Oklahoma.

The Class 3A contenders first slew 5A Glenpool in the semifinals. Then in the title game, they took down tournament hosts Locust Grove. Which also avenged Adair's early loss to Locust Grove in their own tournament. Bond finished a point shy of a double in the title game with 9 points and 10 rebounds. But she did produce double doubles in the previous two games, with 16 and 10 in the opening round win. And 13 and 13 against an athletic Glenpool front line. The Northeastern signee is a rugged player, who plays like a brick wall in the post. But also is skilled as a shooter and passer. From outlets to start transition opportunities to being a connector in the halfcourt.

It was a fantastic week for the skilled scoring guard. On a personal front, she not only earned MVP honors in Ada. She also picked up an offer from Western Oklahoma Community College. She's a guard with good size, who plays even bigger because of her long wingspan. Shawnee is now 10-1 on the year, with them pulling off a 55-54 OT win over Class 6A Dee Creek on Saturday. The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more. And for Rice and her Lady Wolves teammates that is true with a pivotal trip to Tulsa on Tuesday against Booker T Washington. If they win that, they are in the driver's seat for the Class 5A District 3 crown.

Chickasha took down previously undefeated Harrah to win the Charlie K Heatly Classic in Lindsay. Hill started quietly in a blowout win over Sulpher, but did record 4 steals. She was in double figures in both the semifinals and finals. Including a stat sheet stuffing 14 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in the title game win over Harrah. Hill is a transfer from Kiefer and her emergence gives the Chickasha Fighting Chicks a senior class capable of making real noise in the always deep Class 4A playoff field.

Catoosa moved to 9-4 with three wins at the Hominy Tournament. The senior continues to elevate her game. First reaching 500 career points in the Lady Indians' 37-27 semifinal win over Commerce. Then she went off for 7 threes in the title game 52-47 win over Poteau. Cornwell impressed as a hard working sharpshooter during grassroots play last year. And clearly she's still putting time to improve, as she's a catalyst for an improved Catoosa squad.
