<p><strong>Choctaw 4-0 District 6-3 Overall</strong> The Lady Jackets are currently in first place with a 4-0 record and points. Choctaw has 3 games in a row that could decide their playoffs in January. Lady Jackets have some strong experienced players to go along with some young guards. A different look this season for the Lady Jackets in the past as the offense game plan is more open and they have the athletic guards to press the tempo on defense. <p><strong>Westmoore 4-0 District 6-1 Overall </strong>Westmoore enter the break with a 6-1 record last playing December 18th. The Lady Jags will return after break with a home game against PCW before heading to Enid Tournament the first week of January. Lady Jags have a tough 3 game stretch that could decide where they land in district standings. Two of those games will be on the road against Edmond Memorial and Mustang. Westmoore picked up a big win early in the season against Mustang, <strong>Key Players:</strong> University of Arkansas commit [player_tooltip player_id='572451' first='Kyiah' last='Prestridge'], highly ranked sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='992443' first='Aliyah' last='Prestridge'],, Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='913692' first='Mersades' last='Glover'] and Senior [player_tooltip player_id='482163' first='Jaelynn' last='Batiste'] give them a strong presence inside the paint on both ends of the floor.</p>

<p><strong>Mustang 2-1 District 5-3 Overall </strong>After the first round lost to a tough Hartshorne team, the Lady Broncos recovered with two solid wins to win consolation of the Bank 7 Holiday Classic. Mustang seemed to get back on trap with the jump shots in the finals Wednesday and they head back into district play Jan 6th. Mustang has tough 3 game stretch that can set the tone for district standings. The advantage is 2 of those games are at home. <strong>Key Players:</strong> Quinnipiac University signee [player_tooltip player_id='396323' first='Mya' last='Alston'] looks to be back in form. <p><strong>Edmond Memorial 2-1 District 4-2 Overall</strong> Edmond Memorial returns to the court Jan 6 with key home district matchup with Norman North before heading into Bartlesville tournament. They will have 3 straight district games that could place them among the top in district standings. Two of those dates are home against Westnoore and Choctaw. If Lady Bulldogs can put some solid wins together in January, they could make a run for the top 2 spots. <strong>Key Players: </strong>Oklahoma Baptist signee [player_tooltip player_id='1226424' first='Maddy' last='Kirk'] excellent shooting combo guard, Forward [player_tooltip player_id='964361' first='Taylor' last='Low'] is having an outstanding sophomore season, shooting guard Payton Burk, Senior guard Trintee Palmer also having a solid season. <p><strong>Norman North 1-2 District 4-3 Overall </strong>Winners 3 out of their last 4 games heading into break the Lady Timberwolves have the January schedule that could place them in great spot headed into February. First key date will be a road game Edmond Memorial that could move them up one spot. Winning 2 of the 3 key dates could also have an impact on their district standings <strong>Key Players: </strong>The Lady Timberwolves have shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='957693' first='Ava' last='Watkins'], [player_tooltip player_id='1302460' first='Giada' last='Gates'], [player_tooltip player_id='1104733' first='Kinley' last='McCoy']. McCoy and Gates also provide a tough defensive backcourt. [player_tooltip player_id='1266516' first='Caylee' last='Nickson'] and Ash Berry give them height at forward spots. [player_tooltip player_id='847042' first='Julieta' last='Diaz'] and Jaelynn Carrington give them great side in the paint. </p>

<p><strong>Eisenhower 1-2 District 204 Overall </strong> Eisenhower returns from break with a tough draw playing on the road at Choctaw. The district schedule does have a break for Eisenhower as there is a 3-game stretch where they could gain some January momentum. Tough part is 2 of those are on the road. <strong>Key Players:</strong> Kylee Lawrence scrappy guard that is involved in almost every 50/50 loose ball, Kelsey Simien lefty guard that can shoot the 3 and create turnovers with steals, Eriyell Veney combo guard that can shoot the 3.</p>

<p><strong>Putnam City West 0-4</strong> When you look at the Putnam City West roster you will see that the team lineup is very heavy with Sophomores and Freshman. Senior Kimyia Bullard quick guard, Sophomore Amanda Quinoz Fuentes and Freshman Franny Vasque stood out in highlights. A PCW team that will play scrappy defense and create turnovers. Two home dates that could help move Lady Patriots up a spot <strong>Key Players: </strong>Kimyia Bullard returning PG, Franny Vasquez nice freshman forward, Amanda Quiroz Fuentes and [player_tooltip player_id='1320928' first='Victoria' last='Martinez']</p>

<p><strong>Putnam City 0-4</strong> An early district tough schedule has PCO entering the break 0-4 in district. January dates below could give the Lady Pirates an opportunity to move up from the bottom spot. The only difficulty is that both of those games are on the road. Seniors Jalyssa Toles the best outside shooting threat along with small forward Blessing England who does a great job shot blocking at the rim will try to put together some key road wins in January. <strong>Key Players:</strong> Combo guard Jalyssa Toles can shoot the 3 and plays tough defense, Ann-Favor Johnson shooting guard, Blessing England forward plays tough defense in the paint, and athletic Isab Ella Martinez is at small forward</p>
