Washington was the team of Destiny at Bertha Teague this year, coming home with the crown after back-to-back runner-up finishes. The hopelessly deep Washington team just has too much firepower for even the teams in this invitational. Reminds me of the 2011 Cache team that I saw in the Bertha Teague finals years ago, just can hit you with anything.

A moment to remember in the Bertha Teague this year was Parnacher going over the 1,000 point mark for her career in a big win over Kiowa. Parcharcher hit the milestone with a 3 pointer in the third as she ended the game with a team high 15.

Named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. With all of their terrific weapons, the coach in me would hate coaching against Johnson the most. Just when a team does everything right, there is a 6 footer on the perimeter that shoots high arching 3's that you can tell is going in the moment it leaves her hand. Will pull them in transition as well.

13 points in the finals, making every shot she took. All-Tournament selection off the bench for Washington. Not only is Eternity's stock rising, her STOCKS (steals +blocks) would be sky high as well. Long athlete. Washington having a player of this caliber on their bench (and also having one of the best freshman in the state coming off the bench) is truly dangerous for opponents.

15 points and 7 rebounds in the third place game for the eventual All-Tournament selection. Felt like more of a traditional big during earlier seasons, but has a lot more guard skills that have developed. I think she could play the 3 in the college pretty easily. Does a great job in Lomega's signature 2-2-1 press. Capable of taking defensive rebounds coast to coast. I think her elite skill is her body strength/control with her upper body. Has a spin she likes to do in the post and is able to consistently handle the contact to get good looks at the bucket.

Had a terrific start to the tournament, with 14 against Howe, 21 in semi's against Keys. Finished with a solid 5, 6, and 3 in the finals. Good all-around game. Has a nice pull-up shot.

Had 17pts (3-for-4 from behind the arc) and seven rebounds in the championship tilt. So much length, incredibly long strides. Will be behind the arc when a shot goes up and still comes up with the offensive rebound just because she can hunt it and go get it.
