Nine Impact Players From Plainfield Sectional Tournament

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A ton of solid performances came out of the Plainfield sectional this past weekend, from both lower and upperclassmen. This section of the tournament featured Ben Davis, Brownsburg, Avon, Plainfield, and Pike. With Plainfield and Pike taking care of business, they met in the finals. Pike, being the number 1 school, was looking to keep their hot streak going. That they did, beating Plainfield 71-53. Putting up 22 points and 8 rebounds, also contributing 2 blocks. Doing it all on both ends of the floor, Alonna showed why she's a Division 1 talent last weekend. Overall, great performances from her in both games. Second-chance points were a big reason why Pike would go on runs and make it harder for the other team. One of the things that stood out most was her ability to come off the bench and make an immediate impact. The game vs Avon passed the eye test on every level. Knocking down 3s and getting to the basket was the theme of this game, and Saniya played a big part in that. Another thing that caught my eye was her ability to push the ball up the court and find open shots for others. Williams and her team didn't end the season how they'd like, but no doubt she left it all out on the court.
