Abigail Phillistin stood out at the FL/GA Showcase with her ability to handle the ball and help initiate offense. In a traditional setting, she serves as a reliable secondary ball handler, capable of helping out in press break and creating matchup problems against slower forwards and centers. Phillistin can score in the paint, using her quickness around the rim. She also brings a physical defensive presence and competes well on that end of the floor. Understanding her role, she impacts the game in multiple ways - rebounding, defense, and ball handling.

[player_tooltip player_id='400813' first='Asiana' last='McCreary'] will enter her senior season next year with a strong recruitment following already in place, and there is still plenty of upside ahead of her. She is a reliable perimeter shooter with the ability to stretch the floor, and while she can operate on the block, her strength lies facing up on the outside. Continued development with her ball handling is going to elevate her ability to consistently play the three at the next level. Defensively, McCreary has the versatility to guard both the three and the four. She rebounds well and brings physical traits that translate to the four, while her shooting ability gives her the advantage of spacing the floor from the wing.

She showed the ability to operate inside while also stepping out and scoring on the perimeter, where she was consistent from three-point range. Matthews has good size and strength, allowing her to hold position and compete against physical forwards in the paint. Beyond her scoring, she has excellent hands and tracks the ball well, making her a strong rebounder. Matthews led her team with 8.6 rebounds per game, along with 1.1 blocks and 10 points per game. She helped guide her team to the brink of the Final Four, falling just one point short to Somerset, the eventual state champion.

Offensively, Francois can finish around the basket, runs the floor well, and converts in transition. She has also shown the ability to knock down the short mid-range shot when given space.
