Warner competed hard, ran the floor well, and also showed the ability to contribute offensively. Her defensive effort and ability to impact the game in multiple areas made her one of the players who stood out throughout the showcase.

Luci Warner made an impressive climb up the rankings and versatility was behind the upward movement. Warner can score in the paint, on the perimeter, and score on the break. Defensively, she brings toughness and versatility, using her instincts and physicality to guard multiple positions and disrupt the opponent’s game plan. Her ability to anticipate plays, block and contest shots, and contribute on the glass adds to her value as a well-rounded forward. Her all-around game is helping elevate her stock heading into the grassroots season.

She can shoot the occasional three, but is at her best around the rim. Warner can attack from all areas of the floor and can finish through contact or make the sharp drop-offs and dishes to teammates in scoring position. Defensively, she brought additional value with her ability to contest and block shots. Warner’s game reflects a two-way contributor who can score, rebound, facilitate, and make defensive plays. She will be a player to watch this season, and the only question will be how far her stock will rise.

Warner is an under-the-radar forward who was in the building at the FL-GA Showcase. Warner has a nice shooter’s touch from the perimeter, capable of shooting the three as well as the midrange. Warner loves to mix it up on the inside and rebounds well from the small forward position. Warner is active on the floor and led her team in assists, rebounds, and assists from the small forward position.

In the game that I observed, she was quick with her instincts and had a very good feel on the defensive side of the ball. Warner has held her own against some of the top players in the State. She is an impactful player who puts in the work.
