[player_tooltip player_id='243907' first='Ashley' last='Martinez'] (pictured above left) provided steady production and versatility throughout the game, and that came with a target on her back the entire game. After Martinez went off for 8 three-pointers in the semifinals, Winter Haven was determined not to let her have that type of performance. Martinez was still effective, finishing with 12 points while connecting on two three-point shots. She also contributed on the boards and defensively, showing the ability to compete physically while maintaining spacing on offense. Her three point shooting ability allowed Doral to keep the opponent's defense stretched and allow other players to get downhill and become scoring options.

While [player_tooltip player_id='873464' first='Victoria' last='Hall']'s offensive numbers were modest, her defensive impact on the game was significant. Hall controlled the paint throughout the contest, serving as the backbone of Winter Haven's interior defense. She finished with 6 blocks officially (more like 8), but her presence at the rim went far beyond the exact numbers. Hall altered numerous additional shots and forced Doral players to adjust or abandon attempts in the lane altogether. Early in the game, Hall set the tone defensively with two blocks on the same sequence. Her length, timing, and positioning made scoring inside extremely difficult, and she consistently protected the rim throughout the night. In addition to her shot blocking, Hall controlled the glass with 12 rebounds and added 8 points on efficient finishes inside. Hall was arguably the best shot blocker in the entire tournament.

Gray de Sanders was relentless, attacking the basket and carrying a major offensive load for Winter Haven. She demonstrated excellent control of the dribble, consistently finding ways to get downhill and finish through defenders. In the transition game. She was like an avalanche- you know it's coming, but there was no stopping her. Her combination of strength, balance, and body control allowed her to score in various situations. Gray de Sanders finished with 24 points, leading all scorers for Winter Haven and keeping her team within striking distance throughout the game. Her offensive aggression and ability to create scoring opportunities stood out on the championship stage. Her defense was equally good. She had the ability to trail the ball handler, and before making it to halfcourt, she was back on the front of the ball handler - that's speed! Quin was special all tournament, and she did things that others could not do- stealing rebounds and scoring, intercepting in-bounds passes and scoring, turning the ball over, and stealing it back, chasing down ball handlers, and outrunning 5 defensive players in transition to score.

[player_tooltip player_id='514635' first='DJ' last='Myers'] provided a strong two-way effort and was the energy player that brought toughness and grit to her championship team. Myers contributed 5 points and a team-high 8 rebounds, showing a willingness to battle inside against bigger players and secure possessions for her team. She mixed it up all game long in the middle against Hall and company, and also stepped out beyond the arc and knocked down a key three-pointer, helping stretch the defense and giving Doral another perimeter scoring option. Beyond the numbers, Myers made her impact felt with physical defense and hustle plays. She competed well against taller opponents, stayed active around the glass, and helped disrupt offensive rhythm with her defensive effort. Myers' rebounding and toughness played an important role in Doral controlling key stretches of the game and ultimately winning the championship.
