The May live period is one of the most important evaluation weekends of the spring, and LIVE at LakePoint once again served as a major stop for college programs recruiting and prospective student-athletes in the Southeast. With NCAA-certified competition, high-level matchups, and packed sidelines throughout the weekend, several prospects elevated their stock with strong performances on both ends of the floor. I can't watch every team or watch every game, but here are a few of the top names from Florida who showed out at LakePoint in the time I watched them:

Madi is a problem, plain and simple. It was great to see her back on the floor for the first time (for me) after injury, and she immediately reminded everyone why she is such a difficult matchup. Even as the clear focal point for [program_tooltip program_id='713590' first='FGB' last=''], she was still incredibly tough to contain throughout the weekend. Her frame and strength already look college ready, and she consistently used her physicality to create advantages offensively. Her spin move was especially tough to stop, as she used it effectively to create space, and her fadeaway jumper looked polished and comfortable all weekend long.

Kendall is widely known for her shooting ability, and rightfully so, as she once again showed this weekend that she can score from every level on the floor. Her form is clean and repeatable, and she consistently proved capable of getting her shot off even with limited time and space. Beyond the shooting, though, some of the improvements in the rest of her game really stood out. She used her length and timing to block even more shots defensively, rebounded at a high level from the guard position, and looked much more comfortable putting the ball on the deck to get to the rim or into her mid-range game. One of her more impressive sequences came when she recognized a smaller defender on her, went to the block, and finished with a smooth back-to-the-basket spin move. Following her strong weekend, she has already picked up P4 offers from Tennessee, Miami, and Penn State.

Iniya can put points on the board in a hurry with her athleticism and ability to attack offensively. Her scoring ability continues to steadily improve, and her jumper looked especially good this weekend with nice elevation and height on her release. The physical tools and frame she possesses make her a super intriguing long-term prospect, and the attention she received following the event reflected that. Since the weekend, she has already picked up offers from Alabama, FAU, Arkansas, VCU, and Marshall.

Cece made a strong impact defensively with the way she hounded opposing ball handlers throughout the game I watched. She applied constant pressure on the perimeter, stayed active, and competed hard on every possession. Offensively, her shot looked smooth with great rotation, and she consistently knocked down perimeter shots with confidence. She also showed playmaking ability by putting the ball on the floor, touching the paint, and delivering a nice bounce pass for an assist.

Rachael was one of the best athletes in the building and consistently showed it with the way she impacted the game defensively. She blocked shots from all areas of the floor, including an impressive block on a three-point attempt that immediately stood out. Her combination of length and athleticism is scary at times, especially with how easily she reads opponents and jumps passing lanes to create turnovers. Offensively, she showed good elevation and height on her jumper while also using the glass effectively in her mid-range game.

Sahara has really burst onto the scene since arriving in Florida and continues to establish herself as one of the more exciting young guards to watch. She is an elite playmaker whose speed, change of pace, and ability to shift directions so fluidly make her extremely difficult to stay in front of. Sahara just looks like a kid out there who really loves to play the game of basketball. She plays with outstanding energy and bounce while consistently putting pressure on defenses in transition and in the half court. Offensively, she showed the ability to score from all three levels and finish at the rim off two feet with either hand. Following her strong performance this weekend, she picked up her first D1 offer from Mercer.

Ty is an elite athlete whose physical tools and upside immediately stand out when watching her play. She has the ability to rise up effortlessly around the rim and elevate into her mid-range jumper, making her a difficult cover in multiple areas on the floor. After being somewhat under the radar previously, she has started earning both regional and national attention this summer while playing with [program_tooltip program_id='931970' first='Duval' last='Elite']. She carried a heavy load for her high school team, but what has been especially impressive is how smoothly she has transitioned into a talented travel ball environment, which is not always an easy adjustment for players. Her strong play this weekend led to her first D1 offers from Seton Hall and Mississippi State. She will also be playing at Grandview Prep next season, which should only help accelerate her development and growth moving forward.

TJ showed tremendous versatility throughout the weekend and impacted the game in multiple ways on both ends of the floor. Her length immediately stands out and allows her to block shots, disrupt passing lanes, and affect just about anything on the court that requires size and reach. Offensively, she stepped up and hit several big shots from both the mid-range and beyond the arc, showing confidence in key moments. She also got downhill effectively off the dribble and consistently put pressure on the defense attacking the basket. With her combination of length, versatility, and shot-making ability, it feels like only a matter of time before her recruitment truly takes off.
