These players range from combo guards to small forwards and all of them proved to be threats for their teams this past weekend at Live at Lakepoint. Several of these players had a lot of momentum coming into the event with very impressive individual performances already posted this travel ball season. Their stocks and recruitment should continue to rise as they continued their excellent play in Emerson.

Stanfield is a dynamic playmaker at the wing position who was very impressive against a very good [program_tooltip program_id='931970' first='Duval' last='Elite'] 17U team that has been rolling in tournaments with Select Events. Taylor buried a corner three and followed that up with a beautiful short jumper near the baseline where the net barely moved and the rotation on the ball was picture perfect. Stanfield has great size and strength to go with excellent form and she really gets off the ground shooting the ball. She is not just a shooter, but she is one of the best marksmen in her class nationally without question. She made an impact on both ends of the court for [program_tooltip program_id='713452' first='FBC' last=''] Kentucky rebounding the ball and had very good on ball defense. She showed excellent patience and decision making after ripping the ball away from a ball handler and evading two [program_tooltip program_id='931970' first='Duval' last='Elite'] players before pushing the ball up the sideline and kicking it ahead to [player_tooltip player_id='1858483' first='Aubrey' last='Bush'] for a nice lay up. Stanfield's form and fundamentals are textbook, she plays the game with a very high IQ, and has ideal size for a wing player. She has multiple high level division one offers for a reason. She is one of the more consistent Power Four prospects I have seen this year in multiple games.

Jylin was one of the best players at Live at Lakepoint that I had not seen prior to the event. It took about 5 minutes of real time and 2 minutes of game time to realize that she was a special player. She and [player_tooltip player_id='1858483' first='Aubrey' last='Bush'] looked like they fit right in playing against some of the best rising Seniors in the state of Florida from [program_tooltip program_id='931970' first='Duval' last='Elite'] and both are three years younger than those kids. Edmondson's poise and patience for a 2030 was beyond impressive. She did not get sped up, made great decisions, and the right play almost every single time she had the ball. She has knack for finding her open teammates and made several passes that required a lot of skill to execute. One way play she cooly split two defenders got into the paint and hit Taylor Stanfield between her numbers and shoulders right in the shooters pocket for a corner three. She looked calm, cool, and collected running the offense, pushing the ball in transition, and slashing to the basket. She also drew the difficult defensive assignment of guarding Ameera Kone who is an excellent player with multiple division offers. Jylin won some plays and lost some plays in the match up, but did not back down, competed, and over did a good job against the talented scorer.

Keilah had an excellent event for WV Thunder Perry as he was very good on both ends of the floor in the two games I watched her team play against very good opponents. Mitchell plays the game with a lot of heart and great effort on almost every play. When Keilah was on the court the intensity of the action picked up significantly. She literally ran off the court and almost threw up in the trash can right next to me one point in the game. She plays that hard all the time. Mitchell really was impressive using her quickness and ball handling to blow by defenders routinely in the games I watched and then either got to the basket and scored or was fouled or found an open teammate when the help defender came. Keilah hit shots from both the midrange and behind the three point line in the games I saw in addition to shooting the ball well from the free throw line. Mitchell has very good size and used it well to make even the simple things like dribbling and passing the ball difficult for the player she matched up with defensively. She rebounds the ball well and did a good job getting the ball out in transition quickly. Mitchell had a big impact on both games I saw versus excellent competition not just with her energy and effort, but skills and proactive approach on offense with the ball in her hands.

In a tough overtime loss against an excellent West Virginia Thunder team, Harmon was one of the standout players from the game. Stevi hit multiple huge threes for her team throughout the course of the very closely contested game and several were feet behind the line. Harmon has a quick trigger and she was able to get her shots off before the defense could react on catch and shoot situations as well as off the bounce from long range. Harmon moves very well without the ball and with purpose. She moved up from the baseline to the wing when her teammates drove the ball filling in the space behind them and on other trips down the floor Stevi slid to corner from the wing giving her teammates another look and kept the defenders guessing when trying to find her returning from help responsibilities. Harmon has great size and strength. She is a well-rounded player whose stock will continue to rise with excellent play this Summer. She received an offer from Georgia Tech very quickly after that game and the event concluded.

Stoops put on quite an offensive show displaying her unique ability to score the ball a variety of ways at such a young age. The smooth southpaw was on fire from behind the three point line for stretches in a great game versus WV Thunder 16U UAA NC that needed overtime to determine the outcome. She has a very quick release, elevates high off the ground, and has great form and follow through on her shot. Stoops was also excellent running the offense and distributing the ball to her very talented teammates, Finley Sherrill and [player_tooltip player_id='1681664' first='Stevi' last='Harmon'] in the game I watched in particular. Stoops scored on the break, knocked down mid-range jumpers, and shot the ball well from the free throw line. Overall, she played a fantastic game against an excellent opponent in front of a large number of high level division one coaches. Stoops was rewarded for efforts with multiple offers from Power Four schools after the event concluded. Claire came in with a big reputation having already spent time with junior national team program. She plays with a maturity beyond her years and has the game to go with it and she hasn't even started high school yet. Stoops is on a trajectory to be a household name in a few years with continued development at the current pace.

Bryan had another excellent outing shooting the ball for her talented Redline 2028 team. For the weekend, Leah shot over 40% from three point range continuing her stellar play this travel ball season. With her size and knockdown shooting ability, division two schools have taken notice and have expressed serious interest recently. Bryan showed the ability once again to score the ball in other ways as she finished well on the break, knocked down midrange jumpsuits, and made her free throws when she got to line. She already has very good size at 5'10 and her work in the weight room has not gone unnoticed as she is taking and knocking down shots from further behind the three point line consistently.

Salvador had a very strong performance in the game I watched her play versus Tennessee Lady Impact mixing up her roles facilitating the offense while also scoring from the perimeter when the defense left her open. Calleigh finished the game 20 points, four rebounds, three assists, and one steal. 18 of the 20 points came on the six three point shots she made in the game. Salvador does all the little things very well and is a very good athlete who shines pushing the ball in transition for both Redline and South Forsyth. Defensively, she does a very good job on the ball in the half court and trapping and chasing defenders down in the press. College coaches should have Salvador's name circled in Georgia and the surrounding states in the 2028 class if they are looking for point guards.

Ella does a good of a job as anyone scoring the ball from all three levels with her points coming equally distributed from those areas in the games I have watched her play. She does a really good job using head fakes and jab steps to create space and keep her defender off balance. This allows her to time to chose her method of attack and she was efficient scoring the ball from three, the midrange, and finishing at the rim. The same moves she uses so effectively on the perimeter she also employs around the basket using shot fakes, head fakes, and excellent footwork to score on the block and in the paint on cuts and offensive rebounds. She did a nice job facilitating the offense and finding open teammates when she was not looking to score. She is one of the very best freshman in Georgia and she proved that playing up against very good competition at Lakepoint. In the opening game of the event and playing for the first time with a new team David had an excellent performance finishing the game with a double-double, 18 points and ten rebounds.
