2028 Guards Shine at Davenport Elite Camp

The Davenport Elite Camp provided an excellent opportunity for a talented group of 2028 guards to showcase their skills throughout a full day of competition and development. From shooting drills and position work to one-on-one action and live 5v5 games, these young guards consistently found ways to make an impact. Whether it was through scoring, playmaking, defensive intensity, or overall basketball IQ, several prospects stood out with strong performances against quality competition. Emersen put together an impressive performance at the Davenport Elite Camp and consistently stood out throughout the day. She excelled during the skill sessions, showcasing advanced ball-handling ability and complete control with the ball in her hands. Once live play began, Emersen proved she could score in a variety of ways, attacking the basket, knocking down pull-up jumpers, and connecting from beyond the arc. Her feel for the game was evident throughout the 5v5 action, as she made smart decisions and consistently put herself in position to make plays. Emersen also displayed strong leadership qualities, communicating well with teammates and helping direct action on the floor. In transition, she delivered several impressive passes that led to easy scoring opportunities. Brooke put together a strong performance during the 5v5 sessions at the Davenport Elite Camp, impacting the game in a variety of ways. She consistently put pressure on defenses by attacking the basket and getting into the lane, while also making her presence felt on the glass. Brooke's motor stood out throughout the day, as she was constantly pursuing loose balls and creating extra possessions through her effort and determination. Whether spotting up or finding space within the flow of the offense, Erin showed a knack for making shots from the outside. She also impressed during the skill development portion of the camp, where she displayed solid footwork and touch around the basket while working through various finishing drills. Her combination of perimeter shooting and ability to score around the rim made for a well-rounded performance on the day.
