The Summit was loaded with big names and highly recruited prospects, but part of what makes events like this special is finding the players who may not have entered with the loudest buzz but left a strong impression. In Part 2 of our Under the Radar series, we continue highlighting standout performers who made coaches and evaluators take notice with their effort, production, toughness, and upside. These are the players who may not always dominate the headlines yet, but they showed they belong in the conversation.

Avery is a physical wing who doesn't mind mixing it up inside and doing some of the dirty work around the basket. She consistently looked to attack with purpose, seeking out contact rather than shying away from it and showing the strength to finish through defenders. She has good size for the position and used her frame well to create space, protect the ball, and complete plays in traffic. Avery was especially effective when she got downhill, where her combination of size, strength, and aggressiveness made her difficult to contain. She also showed a willingness to battle around the paint, giving her team a versatile presence who can impact the game from the wing while still providing toughness inside. Her ability to play through contact and finish at a high rate stood out throughout the day.

London caught my attention early with back-to-back baskets, showing good activity and a nose for finding scoring opportunities around the rim. She followed that up with an impressive step-through move, splitting two defenders and finishing with good body control. Her ability to stay composed in traffic and use her size effectively made her a tough matchup inside. Defensively, London also made her presence felt, using her length and size to contest and alter shots around the basket. She did a good job holding her ground, staying active in the paint, and making opponents work for clean looks. Her combination of interior scoring, footwork, and defensive presence made her a player worth keeping an eye on.

Virginia Elite was playing up with a roster of middle schoolers, and the young group more than held its own against the older competition. Sanyia was one of the standouts, immediately catching my attention with the way she moved up the floor with the ball and played with confidence beyond her years. She showed a good mid-range shot with solid form and a soft touch, looking comfortable pulling up when defenders gave her space. Sanyia also attacked the lane effectively, where she finished with a half-hook floater that appeared to be a natural and comfortable part of her game rather than a fortunate make. She displayed good feel, creativity, and scoring instincts, and her ability to compete and produce while playing up made her an intriguing young prospect to continue watching.

Khori is a talented combo guard with a good handle and the ability to create offense off the dribble. She showed flashes of her skill throughout the day, using changes of direction and a variety of moves to create space and get where she wanted on the floor. At times, however, she over-dribbled, which allowed the defense to load up, trap her, or recover while open cutters went unnoticed. Quicker ball movement and trusting the pass would make her even more effective, as moving the defense before attacking would create more one-on-one opportunities and cleaner driving lanes. With her handle and ability to break defenders down, Khori doesn't need to work as hard for every scoring opportunity. As she continues to improve her pace, decision-making, and willingness to move the ball early, she should find herself getting easier looks and becoming an even more dangerous offensive threat.

Serae started the day a little slow, but once she found her rhythm, her talent quickly began to show. After a strong drive and finish at the basket, she came back on the next possession and knocked down a pull-up jumper from around the key. From that point on, she found a flow that carried throughout the rest of the day and seemed to get better with each game. She knocked down a couple of corner threes, showed good pace with the ball, and controlled the action from the point. Serae has a natural feel for the position, knowing when to look for her own offense, when to push the tempo, and when to settle things down and get her teammates involved. As the day progressed, her confidence and command of the floor continued to grow, and she established herself as one of the top point guards in the gym.

Somaya shot the ball extremely well and displayed deep range, confidently knocking down shots from well beyond the three-point arc. She was effective when her feet were set and space was available, but what really stood out was her ability to connect on contested attempts with a defender closing out. Somaya showed confidence in her shot, a consistent release, and the ability to get the ball off without needing a lot of room. Her range forced defenders to extend well beyond the arc, creating additional spacing and opening driving lanes for her teammates. Whether left open or shooting with a hand in her face, she proved to be a dangerous perimeter threat who could change the complexion of a game in a hurry.
