Szabo can light teams up from three point range but what she does with the ball in the half court can be scary. Working in the half court defenders have an extremely difficult time reading what she is considering doing. And with her quickness, strong handles and down the floor passing she is easily one of the top point guards in the state regardless of class. She holds an offer from Wichita State.

Vidales is a lengthy, matchup. She moves into space well reacting off teammates' play to catch and stroke the quick, perimeter shot with no wasted movement. She also will hit the step-back three off a couple dribbles. Vidales has good speed, runs transition lanes well and has quick hands to pick ball handers with. Up 2 spots to #9. In June she competed in the FIBA AmeriCup in Columbia as part of Mexico's U18 National Team. In May she also competed at the NBA Without Borders event in Brazil. Moving up 3 spots to #9 Vidales holds offers from from Wichita State, UMKC and New Mexico State.

Up 2 spots to #11. 2024 Greater Wichita Area League HM. '24 Battlein in the Sunflower - Great sideline out of bounds pass to opposite block for a score. Vs Team Iowa nice stroke off catch. Dribble out to corner for a three. Knocked down 5 threes. Smart, fast, strong handles. Coach Ishi said they only thing missing from her being a power 5 talent is shots. Plays too many sports. 2023 Wheat State Slam - Quick jumper off couple dribbles. Good use of head fakes to dreate off dribble. Saw 1.25.23 v Garden City - Average built forward. Good length. Fast with the ball. Good use of back dribbles to create space. could be really good. Battle at the Border 6.22 USJN Pool AA all-star. McCorry moved up 2 spots to #11.

McCallop, who climbed 3 spots to #13, received third team Eastern Kansas League and honorable mention selections from KSHSAA and Sports In Kansas following the 2024 season. After enjoying a 4A state title she has taken her top flight game to the United Kansas League and class 5A. She is not only among the quickest point guards in the state with the ball she is arguably the strongest defender at the position. I had the occasion to watch her against teams with strong, Kansas point guards and not only could they not beat her off the dribble but she also showed textbook chops denying entry passes to guards trying to post inside. Her vision is terrific on both ends and McCallop is a consistent perimeter threat.

Holmes has long had great size, terrific length and the ability to use that well to block shots. A member of The Independent School's 2A state championship team last season, she transferred to Life Prep Academy ahead of the 2025 season. Her skills set has flat come together and is now a now a serious interior problem on both ends. Holmes has sticky hands, quick feet and put-back chops with hops and a post game that had schools at a variety of levels turning their heads. She also runs the floor well, enabling her to many easy baskets. Holmes rocketed up the ranks 76 spots to #21, quickly becoming one of the top post prospects in the class.

Feldman's stock continues to rise. Long and fast with good ball skills, she scores well at all three levels. She works well with the ball face up or with her back to the basket and gets down the floor with the ball in transition. Defensively she smartly uses her length and lateral quickness to defend posts, challenge shots and contest the ball on the perimeter. A KSHSAA 1A Division I all-state selection Feldman is also a returning Wheat State League first teamer. The lefty holds offers multiple D II offers.

Another big who made a serious amount of noise this summer to grab college attentions is Bootsma. Several college coaches I talked with feel she has serious potential to play at the D II level. Bootsma has great length, active feet, transition speed and a strong motor. She competes well on both ends of the floor, is unafraid of contact and competes well for boards in a crowd. As her skills sharpen her stock is only going to continue to rise. While she was unable to take the floor last season for the 2A state champions expect her to command the middle for the Panthers in 2025. Bootsma advanced 14 spots to #64.
