2026 Rankings Update – New Additions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2026 rankings are updated with many new players. This class is an extremely talented group and shows just how great the level of basketball is in North Dakota. She is one of the best players in an absolutely loaded 2026 class. She has a great college playing frame and is very athletic. She moves great in transition and is a great outside shooter. Her height, length, and athletic ability allow her to defend smaller guards and bigger forwards and posts. She is very competitive and will need to play well for South-Prairie to achieve its goal of State Champions in 2025. Her height allows her to see over smaller defenders which translates to excellent vision with her passing. She is a terrific cutter as well, easily reading when to back cut defenders. Her size allows her to defend multiple positions, something college coaches are always looking for. Liza is also a solid shooter on a talented Vikings team. She has good size and athleticism for a guard and is a good outside shooter. Minot is working through some adjusting due to a key injury and Eve's role will increase as the season progresses. She is another guard out there on the floor that can dribble, pass, and shoot. She has a great handle and good change of speed and direction. She is great with her decision making and can knock down the outside shot. She is also a very good defender, always knowing when to get to help-side. She plays well with fellow star [player_tooltip player_id='415426' first='Kennison' last='Azure']. They have a nice option for Hi-Lo looks and both are physical presences around the rim. Elizabeth is a very physical player with great size. She moves extremely well and has athleticism that not every post possesses. She can draw fouls near the rim and is able to knock down free throws. She has good size and does a nice job of creating space in the half-court. She has good jumping ability which allows her to elevate over defenders for buckets close to the basket. She is a very good outside shooter and has a quick release. She is capable of having a big night scoring, but doesn't need to in order to have an effective game and help her team win. She is an athletic guard/forward who can defend multiple positions and is great in Valley City's full-court press. She is a crafty lefty who is great at getting to her strong hand and is also very good at dishing down to teammate [player_tooltip player_id='933463' first='Katie' last='Burchill']. She has the Tioga Pirates playing great and in the top ten in Class B. She is a really good passer in both the half-court and in transition. She does a good job of knowing when to take it to the hole herself as well. She is a very athletic guard/forward who moves extremely well. I like her effort level defensively and her ability to go get rebounds with enthusiasm. She is a nice cutter to the rim and is able to put her head down and get to the basket as well. Bree, Skotti, Maycie, and Rylee make South-Prairie Max my favorite to win Class A this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
