The small forward was a key player in the Lady Hornets making a State Tournament run last season. When watching her play last season the small forward plays like a big guard. She has all the skill sets you want in that slasher 3 guard. Moves great without the ball scoring on backdoor cuts. Shoots the 3 demanding coverage opening driving lanes for teammates. A ballhandler that pushes the tempo baseline to baseline looking to score on defenses jogging back. Rebounds the ball great for a guard and needs no offense as it a get the ball and go mentality. The addition of Taejan gives Riverside another tall guard that can score and play any type of defense. Kaylee adds size and depth to the Lady Wolves roster which looked much improved in the two events I watched this summer (Mustang Summer League and Edmond North Summer League). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I truly believe that Kaylee has a great up side of development to still reach. I watched the Santa Fe staff working with her during warm ups in defining what they wanted to do and the skill set to do it. Therefore why I say when season comes around Ms. Manning could be that impact player she has the potential to become. Laila will bring size and experience with her playing varsity the past two seasons. Laila is also a outstanding softball player that will join PCN softball program. She brings the mmm factor in seeing how her game will grow with a more up/down style. Tycee joins [player_tooltip player_id='910307' first='Ava' last='Slagle'] and [player_tooltip player_id='992460' first='Leighton' last='Inhofe'] giving Berryhill three guards that are outstanding shooters. It also does not hurt that Tycee is a long 6'0 combo guard that also has the skill set to play small forward if needed. Tycee is coming off a strong summer where I believe she became more of a scoring threat.
