Conference Preview: 6A West

The 6A West is loaded with talented teams, and I'm honestly not 100% what the top 5 teams will be at the end of the regular season. Har-Ber looks legit, and their guard talent proves that, but Bentonville and Northside look to be the next best squads, and they could steal that #1 spot. As long as [player_tooltip player_id='1090910' first='Payton' last='Caudle'] is hitting, Fayetteville is a dangerous squad. Bentonville West looks like they have finally put it all together, and Springdale is a sleeper.   <h1 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Springdale Har-Ber Lady Wildcats</h1>   2025-26 record: 14-4 (4-0 6A West)   Notable Wins: Parkview (66-41), Mountain Home (59-41), Bentonville West (63-42), Fayetteville (71-40), Bentonville (62-30)   2024-25 record: 25-6 (11-3 6A West) (lost in 2nd round to NLR)   Biggest Miss: [player_tooltip player_id='876288' first='Brooklyn' last='Owens'] (committed to Drury), Jazmine McCarther (committed to Fort Scott CC)   Projected Finish: #1 in 6A West (top 5 team in state)   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Go-To Stars</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/syniah-coachman/">[player_tooltip player_id='593261' first='Syniah' last='Coachman']</a>- Coachman is the #1 player in the 2027 class for a multitude of reasons, and the performances in her first year with Har-Ber have shown that. Coachman has played extremely well against out-of-state competition like Crandall, TX, where she put up 25 points and 10 boards. Against Mansfield, TX, she logged 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. She plays well against in-state schools, too, like against Rogers, where she put up 20 points and recorded 6 steals.   Coachman can score in a variety of ways. She knows how to create her own shot, and she's got a slick handle, getting to anywhere on the court that she desires. Whether she is being guarded at the 3-point line, in the mid-range area, or in the post, it's a "bar-b-que chicken alert" whenever the ball is in her hands. However, she is more than a scorer, as she has proven to be a willing floor general and a tenacious defender thanks to her length.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/makenlie-campbell/">[player_tooltip player_id='1090299' first='Makenlie' last='Campbell']</a>- This Campbell sister just scored her 1,000th point recently against Tulsa Union, which is no surprise considering how well she has played up to this point. She flirted with an uncommon triple-double against Rogers, putting up 12 points, 10 dimes, and 8 steals. She was in similar territory against Fayetteville, scoring 22 points, dishing out 6 assists, and recording 7 steals. Campbell has shot 45% from the field for her career, so big scoring outings like her 20-point game against Tulsa Union and her 23-point performance against Greenwood are not a surprise.   Campbell can get to any spot on the floor that she wants thanks to her great handle. She is a tough driver, but I think she is at her best creating her shot from the perimeter. She can knock down mid-range and 3-point shots off the dribble, while also keeping her eyes up at all times, constantly searching for open teammates. Campbell is at her absolute best when she is scoring in transition, which is usually as a result of her forcing a turnover.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/madisen-campbell/">[player_tooltip player_id='1090312' first='Madisen' last='Campbell']</a>- This other Campbell twin is playing even better than she did in 24/25. She looked unstoppable against Bentonville West, logging 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 steals while going 8/8 from the charity stripe. She had 18 points and 5 steals against out-of-state Allen High School, as well as 19 points versus Tulsa Union.   Campbell is an excellent outside shooter, equally as efficient off the catch and off the bounce. If the defense closes out too hard, she has no problem driving, either getting to the basket or pulling up for a floater. Campbell is not someone you want to see guarding you. She has excellent lateral movement, staying in front of opposing ball-handlers at all times. Even if the ball is shown for a smidgen of a second, she is a threat to swipe it and take it the other way.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Key Supporting Players</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/myah-haney/">[player_tooltip player_id='1091142' first='Myah' last='Haney']</a>- Haney may be slightly undersized for her position, but she produces positive results just about every night. She recorded a double-double against Tulsa Union, finishing the evening with 10 points and 10 boards. Against Incarnate Word out of Missouri, she had 12 points, and against Allen, she had 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, while only missing one shot (4/5 from the field).   Haney brings toughness to the floor every single game. She boxes out hard and rebounds with the best of them. She can shoot from outside, but Haney is at her best cutting to the basket and scoring in the lane.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/gracie-davenport/">[player_tooltip player_id='1090325' first='Gracie' last='Davenport']</a>- Davenport has proven to be a spark off the bench for the Lady Wildcats. One of her best performances this year was in a win over Little Rock Central, where she had 15 points.   Davenport is a great shooter. She has a quick release, and she is lethal off the catch. Her teammates are constantly looking for her on the perimeter, and the defense needs to as well.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/jayden-james-2/">[player_tooltip player_id='1180783' first='Jayden' last='James']</a>- The former Rogers star has provided a solid spark off the bench for Har-Ber. Against her old squad recently, she scored 8 points and had 3 boards, 3 assists, while knocking down a couple of 3-pointers.   James has been a solid defender this year, but she has also been a 3-point sniper. With all of the attention that Coachman and the Campbell twins get on offense, shooters like James find themselves open, and James will knock down any look she sees.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/jaida-crawford/">[player_tooltip player_id='566088' first='Jaida' last='Crawford']</a>- Har-Ber has another great shooter off the bench in Crawford. She proved that against Mountain Home earlier this year, scoring 10 points, pulling down 3 rebounds, and coming away with a steal. Crawford knocked down 2 triples in that contest.   Crawford is a great in-rhythm shooter. She is especially dangerous in the corners, and though her form is slightly unorthodox, she is still a threat to hit it every single time.   <h1 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Fort Smith Northside Lady Grizzlies</h1>   2025-26 record: 17-2 (5-0 6A West)   Notable Wins: Bryant (57-28), North Little Rock (57-53), De Queen (74-41), Bentonville West (67-52), Fayetteville (53-50), Bentonville (57-45)   2024-25 record: 27-5 (13-3 6A West) (won 6A championship)   Biggest Miss: Erianna Gooden (committed to Colorado), Erikka Gooden (committed to Omaha), Hazley Grotjohn (committed to Northeastern Oklahoma), Kaydence Flemming, Cherish Blackmon   Projected Finish: #2 in 6A West, top 10 team in AR (very real chance they can be the #1 team in the conference and repeat as 6A champs)   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Primary Starters</h2>   Point Guard: <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/isabella-kindrick/">[player_tooltip player_id='1060881' first='Isabella' last='Kindrick']</a>   Kindrick can play the point and the 2-guard spot, but she has been an incredible leader for this Northside squad. Her effort does not jump out on the scoreboard, as she is a vocal leader who directs the traffic on the court. On defense, she is always a threat to force turnovers and start the fastbreak.   Kindrick is certainly capable of scoring, being a 3-point threat, and someone who can knock down floaters at any time. She averaged 3 points and 3 assists a game last year for a championship squad, and now she looks to lead them back.   Shooting Guard: <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/morgan-sanger/">[player_tooltip player_id='947706' first='Morgan' last='Sanger']</a>   Sanger is also a point guard who can play the 2-guard spot if needed. Against Rogers, she put up 5 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 6 steals, and 10 deflections.   She has monster defensive performances time and time again. She is highly active on that end, diving after loose balls, intercepting passes, and not giving her defensive assignments an inch of space. On offense, Sanger is very unselfish, as she constantly looks for open teammates, while being an inside-outside scoring threat herself.   Small Forward: <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/rashiya-hall/">Rashiya Hall</a>   Hall has been a welcome surprise this year. Against North Little Rock, she had 7 points, 5 boards, an assist, and a steal. She had another productive outing versus Argyle, where she put up 4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals.   The sophomore has been Northside's most aggressive rebounder. She uses her strength and athleticism to box out her opponents and grab every board. That translates to defense as well, proving that she can guard the opposition's most talented wings and guards.   Power Forward: <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/camryn-schmidt/">[player_tooltip player_id='1060871' first='Camryn' last='Schmidt']</a>   Schmidt has been one of the most consistent scorers in the 6A West so far this year. She had 16 points during Game 1 of the Tournament of Champions, which was key to a Northside victory. Against Argyle, she put up 19 points, 4 boards, and 1 steal, and versus North Little Rock, she was even better, logging 22 points, a steal, and a block.   The senior is a great slasher who takes on contact with ease. From outside, Schmidt is way too dangerous to leave open, as in-rhythm threes are a piece of cake. She is also a great rebounder and defender, using her 6-foot frame to dominate the game.   Center: <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/paisley-hogan/">[player_tooltip player_id='1260322' first='Paisley' last='Hogan']</a>   Hogan is not really a center, but her length provides Northside a great interior presence. She proved that in the contest against North Little Rock, finishing with 4 blocks along with 12 points, 4 boards, 2 assists, and 1 steal. Her scoring was even better against Argyle, logging 15 points in addition to 3 boards and 2 steals.   Like Schmidt, Hogan is a great finisher inside, using that long frame to score over any defender. She is very athletic and a beast inside, but she has a lot of perimeter skills. She can knock down outside shots, but she has a great handle, allowing her to get to her spots on the floor. On defense, Hogan uses that length and athleticism to block everyone's shots.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Key Supporting Players</h2>   Cooper Schmidt- This Schmidt sister has been an excellent addition off the bench for the Lady Grizzlies. She had a great game against Rogers, hitting several 3-pointers off the catch. That performance shows just how lethal a shooter Schmidt can be, as she provides a nice spark off the bench.   Ariana Acevedo- Acevedo is another positive offensive spark off the bench for the reigning 6A champs. The senior guard had one of her best performances of the season against Rogers, putting up 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 steals. She also had 6 points against both De Queen and Springdale, both from beyond the arc. Acevedo adds another great outside shooting threat to this Northside offense.   Jalliyah Freeman-Rhone- Freeman-Rhone provides the Lady Grizzlies with size and athleticism off the bench. Those abilities came in handy against Quinton in December, grabbing 8 rebounds in addition to her 2 points and 2 steals. She played against Argyle, another out-of-state school, putting up 2 points and 3 rebounds, with 2 of the boards being on the offensive end.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/jariya-birdsong/">[player_tooltip player_id='1275316' first='Jariya' last='Birdsong']</a>- One of Birdsong's best performances of the year was against Dierks, where she proved her all-around impact. She had 7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. She also had a solid outing against Quinton, logging 4 points, 4 boards, 1 assist, and 2 steals. She has proven to be a good defender, forcing turnovers almost every time she is out on the floor.   <h1 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Bentonville Lady Tigers</h1>   2025-26 record: 10-7 (2-2 6A West)   Notable Wins: LR Central (56-47), Greenwood (81-64)   2024-25 record: 22-11 (10-6 6A West) (lost to FS Northside in 6A semis)   Biggest Miss: Cambrie Phillips (committed to Pitt State), Victoria Otter (committed to Providence Volleyball)   Projected Finish: #3 in 6A West (top 25 team in AR), could be a sneaky team in the playoffs like they were last season   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Go-To Stars</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/jensen-thrasher/">[player_tooltip player_id='1090896' first='Jensen' last='Thrasher']</a>- Thrasher averaged 12.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game last season, earning several offers in the process. She's reportedly been hurt for a good portion of the season, but whenever she returns, she will provide an excellent offensive presence for this team. She is a great outside shooter who can get going off the bounce and off the catch. Driving lanes are something the defense can't give her either, adding to her fantastic inside-out scoring.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/anniston-moore/">[player_tooltip player_id='1090332' first='Anniston' last='Moore']</a>- In Thrasher's absence, Moore has really stepped up. She showed out against Carthage, killing the defense with 30 points, 4 boards, 2 dimes, and 2 steals. Against Prairie Grove, she logged 23 points and 3 steals, which is similar to her 21-point, 5-assist, and 3-steal statline in the contest against Fort Smith Southside. Her playmaking abilities were on full display against Greenwood, where she put up 17 points, 7 assists, and 4 steals.   Moore is a phenomenal outside shooter. She is great at working around screens, able to step back and knock down shots out of the confusion. If the defense respects her shooting, she has shown that she can put her head down and drive to the basket, able to take the harm and finish through contact.   Rylee Merritt- Merritt will definitely be in the next ranking update, and she is looking like a future star. The freshman is one of the best young playmakers that I've seen. She is highly unselfish and always seems to find her teammates for in-rhythm shots whenever they need them. She can get buckets herself, being an excellent shooter and a good driver. I think she could be very successful if she utilized the pass fake on the perimeter, acting like she was going to make the extra pass (defenses know she will make that next pass), so that she may get a good look from the outside.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Key Supporting Players</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/aliyah-miller/">[player_tooltip player_id='953342' first='Aliyah' last='Miller']</a>- Miller has provided a nice offensive spark. Against the Pingry School, she put up 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. She had another double-digit scoring outing against Carthage, logging 10 points in addition to 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Against Dover, Miller put up 9 points, 4 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block, and versus Gravette, Miller came away with 9 points, 3 rebounds, and an assist.   Miller scores a lot of her transition points. She uses her exceptional speed to get out in front of everybody, usually being uncontested at the other end. The lefty guard is also a solid 3-point shooter. If she gets an in-rhythm look from beyond the arc, go ahead and add the 3 points to the scoreboard.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/keirsten-baldwin-2/">[player_tooltip player_id='1260743' first='Keirsten' last='Baldwin']</a>- Baldwin has been an excellent piece for Bentonville this year. She was on fire against Rogers Heritage, going 5/6 from 3-point range. Against Little Rock Central, she had 11 points, 4 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a rejection. She had another double-digit outing against McDonald County in December with 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal. Baldwin had a similar statline against Gravette with 9 points, 3 boards, and a block.   Baldwin is an excellent outside shooter. She has a quick release and is fantastic off the catch. On the other end of the floor, Baldwin is a solid rebounder and a good defender. She plays with active hands, ending games with several deflections, steals, and blocks.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/ashton-burgener/">[player_tooltip player_id='1237199' first='Ashton' last='Burgener']</a>- Burgener has been playing very well this season. Against Fort Smith Northside, she put up 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. She has had some other decent performances, like her 7-point, 6-board, and 1-steal outing versus Har-Ber and her 9-point game in the matchup with Rogers Heritage.   Burgener is an excellent 3-point shooter. It seems like she is hitting at least one every single contest, and she is doing so on the wings and off the catch. The lefty has a smooth shooting stroke, and she provides great spacing for the rest of the offense.   <h1 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Bentonville West Lady Wolverines</h1>   2025-26 record: 15-3 (1-2 6A West)   Notable Wins: Greenbrier (43-42), eStem (67-32), Elkins (74-62), Van Buren (53-47), Pulaski Academy (54-50), Springdale (67-63)   2024-25 record: 13-17 (5-11 6A West)   Biggest Miss: Chandler Perry, Kaylin Bowers, Rachel Gandy   Projected Finish: anywhere from #3 to #6 in 6A West, all of those positions are interchangeable   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Go-To Stars</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/addison-greeley/">[player_tooltip player_id='976777' first='Addison' last='Greeley']</a>- Greeley has been very consistent with her scoring this year, leading her team in points per game during non-conference play. In three games at the Benton Classic, she put up 12 points, 5 boards, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest, including shooting 56.5% from the field, 50% from beyond the arc, and 100% at the charity stripe. She's been even better scoring-wise against Cabot and Siloam Springs, where she put up 19 points on 8/14 shooting and 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals, while shooting 9/14. Can't forget about her first career varsity double-double of 13 points and 10 boards versus a loaded Pulaski Academy squad.   Greeley is obviously an efficient scorer. Though this is just her first full year on varsity, she has proven that she takes in-rhythm shots, not forcing anything. She can hit from three with ease, as well as from mid-range and in the lane. I would like to see those assist numbers go up, but outside of offense, she has proven to be a solid defender and rebounder for a guard.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/hailey-trader/">[player_tooltip player_id='1249857' first='Hailey' last='Trader']</a>- Though just a freshman, Trader is making a name for herself in Northwest Arkansas. She couldn't miss against Cabot, going 6/10 from the field and 5/7 from the 3-point line, finishing the night with 17 points and 2 assists. She had a similar statline against Siloam Springs, putting up 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals on 5/7 shooting from the field and 3/5 shooting from outside. She also had multiple 16-point outings against Pulaski Academy and Charleston, with that Charleston matchup seeing her grab 8 boards as well.   3-point shooting is clearly a strength for the freshman. This Wolverine offense operates efficiently with pace and spacing, and Trader fits in perfectly. She can hit shots off the catch, or she can drive past her defender and score amongst the trees. Rebounding is another strength of hers, providing this team with a solid interior presence despite mostly being a guard or small forward.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/tag/regan-crusinbery/">Regan Cruisinbery</a>- Cruisinbery may be a better athlete on the pitch rather than the court, but man, she can hoop. Cruisinbery was in triple-double territory against Elkins when she had 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 steals, while shooting 6/10 from the field. Against Rogers, she had 13 points, 5 boards, and 6 dimes on 5/10 shooting from the field and 3/5 shooting from beyond the arc. She also had 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals on 4/7 shooting versus Van Buren.   Cruisinbery has been an excellent veteran for this young Lady Wolverine squad. She plays with pace, getting to her spots on the floor, and rising to cash in on some jumpers. The senior is clearly a good 3-point shooter, just adding another outside presence to this team that has bucket-getters all across the lineup.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/tag/madison-reese/">Maddi Reese</a>- Reese's best game this season was definitely against Rogers, where she lit up the Lady Mounties for 30 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and only missed two shots (9/11 from the field, 5/6 from three, and 7/7 from the free throw line). Against Searcy, she was efficient once again, going for 19 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals, while missing just one shot. She has also had solid 10-point outings against Fort Smith Northside and Siloam Springs.   Reese can obviously go for big games whenever she feels like it. Bentonville West welcomes her going for big games as she has against Rogers, but she also stays in the wave of the offense. Her shooting is excellent, and with that quick form, she can get hot at any time.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Key Supporting Players</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/hallie-ford/">[player_tooltip player_id='1060876' first='Hallie' last='Ford']-Henry</a>- Ford-Henry has been a solid veteran presence on the interior this year. The soccer star had one of her best games of the year against Van Buren, while going up against one of the best bigs in 5A. She finished that night with 11 points, 4 boards, and 3 rejections, while going 7/7 from the line. She couldn't be kept off the boards against Har-Ber, grabbing 10 to go along with her 4 points, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.   Ford-Henry is more of a forward, but her athleticism and tenacity allow her to be an underrated rim protector (it seems like all soccer players are great defenders). She also has a knack for getting to the free throw line, always able to create contact on her shots.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/addilyn-sharp/">Addie Sharp</a>- Sharp has provided excellent play so far this year. Against Fort Smith Northside, she lit up the offense with 11 points on 4/6 shooting from the field and 3/5 shooting from three. She was stuffing the stat sheet against Charleston, putting up 8 points, 2 boards, 3 assists, and 3 steals while having a +/- of 23.   That +23 against Charleston is an excellent stat, and it displays just how positive she is to the team every time she steps foot on the floor. Offensively, she is going to get going from three, but her spacing, defense, and intangibles help the team win games.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/ayla-williams/">[player_tooltip player_id='1274931' first='Ayla' last='Williams']</a>- I don't think Williams has gotten enough time, but so far, she has proven to be an excellent presence. One of her best outings this year was against Searcy, where she had 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals on 3/6 shooting and 2/4 shooting from the 3-point line.   Williams provides Bentonville West with a lot of length, which helps her state her presence on defense and on the glass. Offensively, she can get to the basket and finish through the defense, but she helps stretch the floor with her 3-point shooting, which is deadly, especially off the catch.   Aubrey Sullivan- Sullivan has been a welcome spark plug for this team. Against Har-Ber, she got going quickly, going 3/3 from the perimeter and 5/6 from the field, finishing the contest with 15 points and 4 boards. She also had 13 points against Cabot, where she shot 5/6 from the field and 3/4 from outside.   Sullivan is another great shooter for the Lady Wolverines. If she has a shot off the catch in the corner, don't bother to try to get a rebound. Shooting is her strong point, and she is another floor-stretcher for a hot-shooting offense.   <h1 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Fayetteville Lady Bulldogs</h1>   2025-26 record: 8-9 (2-2 6A West)   Notable Wins: Greenwood x2 (79-72 & 90-58), LR Central (78-71), Greenland (48-35)   2024-25 record: 19-12 (10-6 6A West) (lost in 6A Championship vs FS Northside)   Biggest Miss: Whitney Brown (committed to Hutchinson CC), Ty'Shelle Harris (committed to Allen County CC), Mariyah Moss, [player_tooltip player_id='593261' first='Syniah' last='Coachman'] (transferred to Har-Ber), [player_tooltip player_id='566088' first='Jaida' last='Crawford'] (transferred to Har-Ber)   Projected Finish: #3-6 in 6A West   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Go-To Stars</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/payton-caudle/">[player_tooltip player_id='1090910' first='Payton' last='Caudle']</a>- Caudle is one of the best players in the state for a reason. She averaged just 13 points and 6 rebounds a game in 2024/25, but her offense has been looking even better. Shooting from the outside has always been a strength for Fayetteville's superstar, as she can get going off the catch and off the bounce. If a driving lane opens up, she will exploit it. However, if the defense collapses, she will either pull up for a mid-range jumper, step back and hit a deep shot, hit a floater, or find an open teammate.   Her scoring is clearly great, but she has been playing a lot of points this year, and her vision is underrated. She knows where her open teammates are at all times, and she is such an accurate passer.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/charley-rawlins/">[player_tooltip player_id='1060890' first='Charley' last='Rawlins']</a>- Rawlins has really elevated her game since last year, thanks to a great summer with her AAU squad. Rawlins went from primarily being a 3-point threat to being an all-around machine. She can score inside, outside, and from in between, but she is also a solid defender who provides an excellent defensive presence on the wings.   Again, Rawlins is still a great shooter. She hit the three at a high clip, and there are not many looks that she does not like. There is no wonder why she has been getting increased collegiate attention over the past year.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Key Supporting Players</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/ciera-bolger/">[player_tooltip player_id='1180771' first='Ciera' last='Bolger']</a>- One of Bolger's best all-around performances this year was against Vilonia, where she put up 5 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.   Bolger is a solid stretch-5. She can hit the outside shot off the catch, and then go down to the other end of the floor and swat her opponent's shots in the paint. She is also a great rebounder on both ends of the floor.   Bolger has already received an offer from Division III Hendrix College.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/lily-crone/">[player_tooltip player_id='1239650' first='Lily' last='Crone']</a>- Crone is one of Fayetteville's best defenders, but her offense is underrated. She had 11 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block versus Greenwood in December. Not long after, she had 9 points, 6 boards, 2 dishes, and a steal against Aledo. Earlier this month, she had another great outing against Rogers Heritage, putting up 8 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals.   Crone has the eyes of a hawk. Whenever a pass is thrown, there is a high probability that she will intercept it and take it the other way for a transition bucket. Her reactions are very quick, and she can block shots, especially jumpers. On offense, Crone is an excellent outside shooter, providing this team with great floor spacing.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/chyloh-terry/">[player_tooltip player_id='1091172' first='Chyloh' last='Terry']</a>- Terry has played a consistent role for the Lady Bulldogs this season. She's coming off a solid outing against Rogers, where she put up 8 points and 3 assists. One of her more underrated performances, in my opinion, was against Greenwood, where she had 2 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals.   Terry can definitely hit the 3-point shot, hitting two high-arcing threes in that game against Rogers. Her usual role on offense is actually to facilitate, and she has done that very well. Of course, Terry is a pest on defense, and she elevates her team's play with her effort.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/satasha-robinson/">[player_tooltip player_id='1220099' first='Satasha' last='Robinson']</a>- Robinson has shown flashes of two-way brilliance this season. By far her best game was the November matchup with Greenwood, where she went off for 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 dimes. She followed that game up with a 7-point, 8-rebound, 2-assist, and 3-stock performance against Vilonia.   Robinson seems to be the first player down the court every time. She is one of the best fastbreak scorers in the conference thanks to her speed and athleticism. Her length allows her to finish up and over any defender. She is also a fantastic rebounder, out-hustling all of her opponents.   Mataya Brown- Brown has been an excellent shooter for the Lady Bulldogs. She started the year with an 8-point outing against Vilonia, where she hit 2 triples. She had 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists against Little Rock Central and 8 points, 2 rebounds, and a steal versus Rogers Heritage.   Brown has a quick release from outside and is lethal off the catch. She is a great target for Fayetteville's stars to pass to for automatic buckets.   Aubre Ramsey- Ramsey is one of the most underrated rim protectors in the 6A classification. One of her best all-around performances was against Bryant, where she put up a near-double-double of 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks. She has also had a 3-block performance against Greenwood and an 8-point, 3-rebound, 4-assist, and 2-block outing versus Greenland.   Ramsey's blocks look like volleyball spikes, sending the ball into the stands. She provides Fayetteville with excellent athleticism and length, which allows her to be a great rebounder and defender, providing the team with the interior presence they need.   <h1 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Springdale Lady Bulldogs</h1>   2025-26 record: 12-6 (3-2 6A West)   Notable Wins: Van Buren x2 (49-31 & 35-31), Greenbrier (50-49), Pea Ridge (48-43)   2024-25 record: 25-5 (11-2 6A West) (lost in 2nd round of 6A Playoffs to Bentonville)   Biggest Miss: Kiara Owens (committed to Seward County CC), Adrianna Hernandez (committed to Connor's State CC), Carolinda Hudson, Arkya Dixon (committed to Allen County CC), Madan Brooks (committed to the University of the Ozarks)   Projected Finish: #4-7 in 6A West   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Go-To Stars</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/charleen-hudson/">[player_tooltip player_id='874448' first='Charleen' last='Hudson']</a>- After averaging 14 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.7 steals last year, Hudson is playing even better. She was flirting with a triple-double in the game against Carl Junction, where she had 18 points, 10 boards, 8 assists, and 4 steals. Hudson was in similar territory against Pea Ridge when she put up 20 points, 8 boards, 6 assists, and 4 steals. She showed off her playmaking against Fort Smith Southside, putting up 16 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assists, and 5 steals.   Hudson has been Springdale's do-it-all player this year, which is no surprise. She is a great scorer who can get inside, finish through contact, and hit tough shots in the lane. She plays with excellent space, working well around screens, and can step back and knock down some jumpers. Springdale's superstar is also a great defender and playmaker.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/kaiya-mccoy/">Kaiya McCoy</a>- McCoy is another do-it-all star on this Lady Bulldog roster. She was unstoppable against Conway, putting up 23 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 steals. Against Greenbrier, she put up 19 points, 5 boards, and 3 steals, and against Carthage, she had 18 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.   McCoy is one of the best all-around players in the state at the guard position. She out-hustles the competition, finishes through contact inside, and locks down the opponent's best guards. Her playmaking is also worth mentioning, as she has been tasked with making the extra pass to feed the team's shooters.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Key Supporting Players</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/torrie-miller/">[player_tooltip player_id='874453' first='Torrie' last='Miller']</a>- Miller had 11 points, 5 boards, and 2 steals against Nevada out of Missouri, which has been one of her best games this year. She has a bunch of 6-point outings as well, including against Pea Ridge, Van Buren, Carl Junction, and Conway.   Miller is a solid scorer inside who is always ready to receive a pass in the paint. She also scores a fair amount of second-chance points thanks to her great effort on the glass.   A'Laeyah Serrano- Serrano has been a big-time player this year. She had a great game against Rogers, putting up 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. She has had two great games against Mountain View and Mountain Home, putting up 11 points, 3 boards, and 2 steals in one matchup, and 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 swipes in another. She also had 6 steals against Van Buren to go along with her 12 points.   Serrano is a great 3-point shooter, hitting multiple threes in several of these matchups. She has a quick release and a great follow-through. Besides her scoring, she knows how to facilitate the offense, making the extra pass and finding open shooters. Her defense is also super aggressive, and she forces multiple turnovers seemingly every game.   Avalon Meeks- Meeks has had multiple double-digit scoring outings, including her game against Carthage, where she put up 10 points and 3 boards. She was close to that mark against Rogers, putting up 9 points and 3 boards. Against Mountain View, she put up a respectable 7 points and 2 rebounds.   Meeks can be a sparkplug scorer whenever her team needs a bucket. She has shown that she can hit jumpers off step-backs, as well as around screens.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/maleah-bangs/">[player_tooltip player_id='879145' first='Maleah' last='Bangs']</a>- Bangs' rebounding has been incredible. She couldn't be kept off the glass against Greenbrier, grabbing 13 to go along with her 4 points. She had 8 points and 3 boards against Van Buren, and had 4 points and 4 rebounds against Fort Smith Northside.   Like that Greenbrier game shows, Bangs is going to outrebound her opponents. She is very hard to keep off the glass and hard to keep from scoring inside as well.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/jackeline-araujo-batres/">Jackie Araujo-Batres</a>- Araujo-Batres has found some ways to score, putting up 8 points and 3 rebounds against Fort Smith Southside. She also had 6 points against out-of-state Carl Junction.   Destiny Jinuna- One of Jinuna's best performances was against Neosho, putting up 12 points and 4 steals. She also had solid performances against Fort Smith Southside and Pea Ridge, finishing with 6 points and 7 points, respectively.   Jinuna is a solid defender, able to force turnovers, but on offense, you absolutely cannot leave her open from three.   <h1 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Fort Smith Southside Lady Mavericks</h1>   2025-26 record: 4-14 (0-3 6A West)   Notable Wins: Ozark (51-25), Prairie Grove (49-34)   2024-25 record: 7-23 (0-10 6A West)   Biggest Miss: Anniyah Brewer, Mekaila Robinson (committed to National Park CC)   Projected Finish: #6-8 in 6A West   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Go-To Stars</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/yianna-drosopoulos-hart/">[player_tooltip player_id='1263858' first='Yianna' last='Drosopoulos-Hart']</a>- The freshman has been a star, putting up 24 points and 4 rebounds in a win over Prairie Grove and 22 points, 5 boards, 5 assists, and 4 steals in another matchup against Prairie Grove.   Drosopoulos-Hart is an excellent scorer. She is a solid outside shooter, but she can get inside and score through contact as well. On defense, she takes advantage of sloppy passes and handles, usually taking the ball down to the other end to score in transition.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/aniya-morris/">[player_tooltip player_id='1189079' first='Aniya' last='Morris']</a>- Morris stood out at the Carthage Lady Tigers Shootout, earning an all-tournament selection. She has an excellent touch around the rim and uses her size to move defenders out of the way inside. She scores in bunches down low, but Morris has a solid handle, and I think if she develops those perimeter skills, she will be one of the best bigs in the classification.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/loghan-settle/">[player_tooltip player_id='1231311' first='Loghan' last='Settle']</a>- Settle has provided a spark for Southside on both sides of the ball this year. She has been hitting threes at a great rate this year, especially off the catch, but on defense, she has been closing out hard on opponents' shots and forcing turnovers.   Paige Watson- Watson has shown that she can impact the game on both sides of the ball. On offense, if she sees one three go down, she will keep firing, and probably keep hitting. Against Sunrise Christian Academy, she knocked down 3 triples, which were all 9 of her points. On the other end, Watson plays the passing well, intercepting and tipping a lot of passes.   Kaliyah Pressey- Pressey has provided some solid minutes for the Lady Mavericks this year. Against Carl Albert, Pressey logged 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals. She shot 2/4 in the game. Defense, rebounding, and shooting inside are what you get with Pressey.   Maliyah Tye- Tye had a solid game against Har-Ber recently, putting up 8 points and 7 rebounds. Rogers Heritage saw Tye have a complete game, putting up 9 points, 2 boards, 2 assists, and 4 steals. She is at her best knocking down triples, whether off the catch or off the bounce. She has a good handle, so getting into the lane and scoring is not out of the question for her.   <h1 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Rogers Lady Mounties</h1>   2025-26 record: 4-14 (0-5 6A West)   Notable Wins: Elkins (50-44), Siloam Springs (62-46)   2024-25 record: 10-21 (1-9 6A West)   Biggest Miss: Alayshia Freeland, Sybell Solis, [player_tooltip player_id='1180783' first='Jayden' last='James'] (transferred to Har-Ber)   Projected Finish: #7-9 in 6A West   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Go-To Stars</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/delaney-hayes/">[player_tooltip player_id='1245009' first='Delaney' last='Hayes']</a>- Hayes is having quite the season for the Lady Mounties. She recently put up 20 points and 2 steals against Springdale, which was before dropping 15 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block on Bentonville West. She has had other solid outings, like against Har-Ber, where she had 11 points, 7 boards, and 2 steals, and then 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 steals in a non-conference win over Siloam Springs.   Hayes is a solid outside shooter, but she scores a lot of her shots inside. Hayes is a great slasher who can finish through contact, and her ability to force turnovers of the defensive end allows her to have plenty of opportunities to score in the open court.   Cadyn Harris- Harris is perhaps the best shooter on this team. She has had multiple games where she has made 4 triples, as she did against Siloam Springs (14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal) and Fayetteville (14 points, 1 assist).   Harris has a quick release and a high arc on her shot. She is great off the catch, but if she is the ball-handler receiving a screen, and her defender goes under the screen, she will not hesitate to rise for a shot. Harris is also not afraid to take a step or two behind the 3-point and hoist a deep shot, mainly because she knows she can hit it.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/taylor-chrisman/">[player_tooltip player_id='1060874' first='Taylor' last='Chrisman']</a>- After being all-conference a year ago, Chrisman is back and still finding ways to impact the game. She had 13 points and 2 rebounds versus Bentonville West recently, which was before a 5-point, 7-rebound, 2-assist, and 2-stock outing versus a very good Fayetteville squad. She had a solid all-around performance against Ozark in December, logging 12 points, 6 boards, and 3 steals, and then 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block against Elkins soon after.   In Rogers' halfcourt offense, Chrisman is at her best when shooting from three, as she is a consistent 3-point markswoman. If she's not doing that, then she's playing solid defense and running out in transition, usually after picking off a pass.   Lili Weiner- Weiner is a young sophomore who adds more shooting to this Lady Mountie offense. She was perhaps at her best during the Little Rock Christian Academy Holiday Classic, where she earned Player of the Game during one of Rogers' performances.   <h1 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Rogers Heritage Lady War Eagles</h1>   2025-26 record: 8-11 (0-3 6A West)   Notable Wins: Prairie Grove x2 (39-36 & 42-39), Clinton (59-46), Lincoln (65-28)   2024-25 record: 2-27 (1-12 6A West)   Biggest Miss: Sophie Sarratt (committed to Iowa Western CC)   Projected Finish: #7-9 in 6A West   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Go-To Stars</h2>   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/teagan-holt/">[player_tooltip player_id='1060868' first='Teagan' last='Holt']</a>- Rogers Heritage's star has been exceptional this year. Gentry couldn't stop her this year, as she dropped 25 points on their heads. Gravette couldn't handle her either, seeing her log a near-double-double of 22 points and 9 boards. She did end up recording a double-double against Prairie Grove, however, finishing with 19 points and 11 rebounds.   Holt has proven to be a solid inside offensive player. She scores well on either block, able to back down her defender and hit shots off the backboard, thanks to her nice touch. Her outside shot is also impressive, and she can knock it down with ease off the catch. Since she lives in the paint pretty often, the opposition must be aware of her at all times and make it a priority to box her out, or she'll make you pay.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/addy-olsen/">[player_tooltip player_id='1437979' first='Addy' last='Olsen']</a>- Olsen adds exceptional shooting to this War Eagle offense. She showed that against Little Rock Southwest, nailing a couple of triples, as well as Lincoln, where she hit 2 threes to go along with her 8 points. Olsen also had 10 points in a big win over Gentry.   As I mentioned, Olsen is a great shooter. She uses screens well, running through them and getting open with ease. From there, her quick trigger and high shot arc are a recipe for success.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/joanna-rockwell/">[player_tooltip player_id='1437980' first='Joanna' last='Rockwell']</a>- Rockwell has played some good basketball this year. Against Little Rock Southwest, on the court of the Oklahoma City Thunder, she had 10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block. Later that month against Webb City, Rockwell poured in 12 points to go along with a rebound, an assist, and a block.   You can't leave Rockwell open from three, because she will make you pay. She is a solid catch-and-shoot forward, but she can drive to the basket and score through traffic.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/player/monica-howard/">[player_tooltip player_id='1196138' first='Monica' last='Howard']</a>- Howard is one of the best facilitators on this team. She showed that against Lincoln the other day, when she put up 6 points, 6 boards, 5 assists, and 3 steals. She had a similar statline against Fort Smith Southside, putting up 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Howard can score as well, as she scored 10 points, grabbed 2 boards, and blocked 1 shot against Fayetteville.   Howard can knock down the 3-ball well, but she is a heads-up player on defense. She knows where the ball is going at all times, whether it's from a pass or a shot, which is why she picks up so many steals and rebounds.

The 6A West is loaded with talented teams, and I'm honestly not 100% what the top 5 teams will be at the end of the regular season. Har-Ber looks legit, and their guard talent proves that, but Bentonville and Northside look to be the next best squads, and they could steal that #1 spot. As long as Payton Caudle Payton Caudle 6'0" | CG Fayetteville | 2028 State AR is hitting, Fayetteville is a dangerous squad. Bentonville West looks like they have finally put it all together, and Springdale is a sleeper.
