About Lily

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile wing who has the size to impact the game at both the shooting guard and small forward positions. At 5'10", I can create match up challenges on the perimeter, I like to use my length and athleticism to contribute as a scorer, rebounder, and defender. My ability to play multiple positions allows me to operate both on the wing and in transition, where I can use my size to finish.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a competitive, hardworking player who puts the team first. I take pride in being coachable, bringing positive energy every day, and doing whatever is needed to help my team succeed. I enjoy challenges, stay focused on improving my game, and try to lead by example through my effort, attitude, and commitment both on and off the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through basketball, I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Being part of a team has taught me the importance of accountability, supporting my teammates, and working together toward a common goal. I have learned how to lead by example through my effort, attitude, and work ethic. Basketball has also helped me build confidence, discipline, and time-management skills.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I suffered a fracture in my foot that required surgery to remove a piece of bone and miss most of the 2026 AAU season. During my recovery, I focused on staying positive, following my rehab plan, and finding ways to continue learning the game from the sidelines. The experience taught me patience, and the importance of perseverance. This has motivated me to work even harder to return stronger.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will challenge me both academically and athletically. I want to be part of a program with a positive team culture, coaches who are invested in player development, and teammates who push each other to improve every day. Academically, I am looking for a school that offers strong opportunities in my areas of interest and will prepare me for success after basketball.
