Jada Gyamfi Jada Gyamfi 6'1" | PF Johnston | 2022 State #76 Nation IA – Senior – Forward – Johnston – Will probably play the small forward or power forward at the next level. Jada’s post-up game is amazingly polished. She seals very well and rebounds the ball efficiently. She started strong in the first half. Her shot-blocking ability really cramped Pleasant Valley’s inside game. Great Teammate and player. 13 points 8 boards.

– Junior – Guard – Waterloo West – A long physical guard who could play the three spot in college with her strength. Crashes the boards hard, pushes the pace with relentless defense. The big spark to me the whole game for West. With one more year to do some damage in high school watch out for this high-impact athlete. Sahara looks to lead her team to their first state tournament championship appearance in 20 years. 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists.
Kaitlyn Tendal Kaitlyn Tendal 5'6" | PG Estherville Lincoln Central | 2022 State IA – Senior – Guard – Estherville Lincoln Central – Shifty and shakey guard who is always working. Drives and crashes with passion. Looks to make the right play for the team. A strong defender who basically shut down Unity’s attack with constant pressure the whole game. Rebounds very well for a smaller guard. The jumper is extremely smooth from distance as well. Kill’s girls with her no-look game and head fakes. 22 points 4 boards.
Brooke Loewe Brooke Loewe 5'7" | PG Ballard | 2022 State IA – Senior – Guard – Ballard – Quick guard with lots of high energy. NBA three-point range three-point game. She’s a pest on defense all game and doesn’t take breaks. Leads her team with hustle and grit. Great court vision and keeps the play alive with her dribbling skills. 25 points, 4 assists, and 5 steals. She is the driving force for Ballard. Her creativity and control of the game are fun to watch.
Libby Fandel Libby Fandel 5'11" | SF Cedar Rapids Xavier | 2025 State IA – Court Vision. Length. Handles. Hybrid player. The long frame gets her Steals. I can’t say enough about this young girl. She battled an extremely tough DCG squad that traps and presses hard all game. Her decision-making is top-notch for her age. She grabs the ball and pushes hard. See’s the court with amazing court vision and has the strength to drop a full-court dime in rhythm to her teammates. By far one of the strongest games all around I watched in the tournament. She was creating turnovers and rebounding well with her length. Took over the last overtime to lead her girls to the ship. My new favorite fantastic freshman for sure. Play’s AAU with Team Iowa out of Cedar Rapids which has been producing some very talented players. 18 points, 10 boards, 7 assists 3 steals with only 3 turnovers. Huge game impact player that the stats don’t show. She deflected many more steals and upset a strong group of mustangs that were a strong favorite at state.
