There were a lot of kids making plays for their respective club programs and competing. Take a look at some of the standouts that we’re at their best all weekend:
Sydney Scott Sydney Scott 5'9" | SG Plainfield North | 2025 State IL 5’8, Guard, Pink Elite
Scott has the size and the ball-handling ability to play all positions. She can guard at the 15u level watching all the positions that she can play. Scott is a good finisher around the rim and can knock down jump shots. She can play defense and is good around the perimeter playing aggressive defense. Scott does a great job with her shot selection and putting herself in the right place at the right time creating opportunities for herself and others.
Ameerah Grant 5’7, Guard, Wisconsin Playground Elite
Grant is a playmaker that plays the game the right way. She is controlled and it is no secret that she has no problem scoring on all three levels. She has the right size and displayed strength and toughness. Grant makes it hard to stay in front of her in a one-on-one type of play. She has raw talent and speed that isn’t ordinary and is a player that is just fun to watch. Plays up on the 2024 team and stands out.
Bella Gruber Bella Gruber 5'10" | PF Plainfield North | 2025 State IL 6’0, Forward, Pink Elite
Gruber is talented not only by her height. she plays the game the right way. She has great size and length which gives her the advantage in the rebounding game on both ends of the floor. Gruber makes it hard to get around and does a solid job with finishing around the rim even through contact. She is a clutch all-around basketball player that is needed due to her all-around ability.
Amaya Henderson Amaya Henderson 6'3" | C Whitney Young | 2025 State IL 6’1, Center, Midwest Elite
Henderson is more than just height and length. She has a great upside to her game and does great thing’s on both ends of the floor. Henderson can push the basketball in transition, has shot-blocking ability, and rebounding, and does a great job finishing around the rim. Watching her play and displaying her ability to handle the ball as well as knock mid-range shots down is impressive.
Kea’driah Butler 5’7, Guard, Indiana Red Storm
Butler is a good shooter and has all the confidence that she needs. She has great poise and plays hard on both ends of the floor. Butler has a great work ethic and produces on the ball and off the ball. This young lady can play and displays a team-first mentality and does a great job communicating. Keep an eye on the direction she goes because that direction has a lot of potentials.
