As the season moves along, Wozniak will get more comfortable and more explosive, and that’s scary for the competition. As for yesterday, she brought a fire off the bench. Wozniak played with energy and intensity. That grit translated into buckets. She showed her shooting prowess from behind the arc as well as touch from mid range.

Sophia Wozniak Sophia Wozniak 5'7" | CG East Kentwood | 2024 State MI looked to be in peak form today after returning to action last week following an injury. She stole a pass, went coast to coast, then finished a contested left-handed floater at the rim in traffic. Sophia scored another floater, beating her defender off the dribble from the wing and drilled a wing 3 off the catch. She is a two-way playmaker for the Falcons.

Wozniak definitely turned some heads over the weekend. She was an athletic scorer that also did a lot of “the little things” well. Wozniak was constantly communicating with her teammates and was always the first, or one of the first, players to get back on defense. I really liked her upside as a player and prospect.

Wozniak impressed me early and often at the Top 250. She was an absolute playmaker when the ball was in her hands. Wozniak was an athletic shooter that could make a move with the ball and immediately flow into her jumper. I liked what she was able to do on the defensive end as well. Wozniak kept a strong base and had smooth defensive footwork.
