Now that the college live period has come to an end, the main topic of conversation has been who received "what offers" from colleges. There were, however, other topics and opinions that emerged from the evaluation period. In this article, we focus on one topic - who were some of the young players (2027 and 2028) that emerged as future stars and impact players for this upcoming season and seasons to come.

[player_tooltip player_id='515066' first='Presley' last='Norman'] was really special during Orlando splash and National Championship. Put her on a basketball court and there is not much that she can't do. Her game showcases her advanced skills as a player and her intellect on the floor. She seems to always be thinking one step ahead. Playing up one grade, Norman's shot was very efficient from behind the three point line. She knocked down 6 threes during one two-game stretch. Norman showed great versatility on the court. She played at the shooting guard position and also ran the point. At the point guard spot, Norman had some great assists. With her feel for the game, she put her teammates in good position to score after the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='400811' first='Elle' last='Deegan'] shot the ball very well. In one game I saw, the lefty sharp shooter connected on at least 4 threes. Deegan does a good job of finding her spots on the floor. She wastes no time with her quick release and shoots with great confidence.

[player_tooltip player_id='727590' first='Araniya' last='Riggins'] was a primetime player during the championship round of Splash. Riggins played great defense, deflecting passes and getting steals. During one sequence she got the steal, attacked the paint and pulled up with a sweet midrange bucket. A few possesions later, she knocked down a long range three pointer. Riggins played well on both ends of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='727619' first='Mya' last='Green'] was very impressive in many areas of her game. Her energy was the first thing noticed. The way she attacked the basket was a close second. She went to the rim hard and scored quiet often in the paint. Green could also shoot the ball very well. Loose balls found their way to Green, even if she had to dive on the floor to get them. Defensively, she was a great on the ball defender. Green was a true leader on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='727591' first='Jaide' last='Peterson'] (cover) was a special player who could get anywhere on the court she wanted to. She is lone 2028 in this article. Her speed was different than anyone else's on the court, and ultimately proved to be the difference in the entire game. Peterson shot the three, got to the rim, and actually got to any spot she wanted to on the court. She was playing in her grade level and against her peers, but Peterson is "built different" and has "special" written all over her game. A few other traits that were noticed: team player and coachable.

[player_tooltip player_id='221598' first='Trinity' last='Berry'] was a standout during the Splash and National Championship week. Berry has athleticism and fluidity that jumps off the page. She also is a good basketball player too. Her ability to score from the outside and in transition were impressive. She also did a good job of handling the ball and running the offense. Berry also communicated well on the court.
