<p>Prep Girls Hoops took in the action on Super Bowl Sunday from NAAIS The League Finals in Greenville, SC. The newly formed NAAIS is hosting 6 teams over the next few days from around the country. <p>Grind Prep based out of Oklahoma City, OK features a roster of NO seniors, two juniors, one sophomore, two freshmen, three eighth graders and yes one seventh grader. Junior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='309982' first='Sania' last='Richardson']</strong> came up big today with her play scoring 38 points in the win. Richardson originally from Ada played extremely aggressive with her willingness to score the rock. She showcased great court awareness; nice crossover moves and quick handles to race by defenders. Sania was able to finish at the cup with either hand very effectively. </p>

<p><strong>Kalani Kindred </strong>and<strong> Amara King</strong> both just in the 8th grade provided some good production for Grind Prep. Kindred finished with 9 points while King dropped in 6 points in the win. Freshman post <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='751200' first='Ziyah' last='Sims']</strong> scored just 3 points but surely plays the game with a high motor at all times. Sims will play with her back to the basket down on the block while running the floor like a gazelle at times. She plays very active and does a great job of running her spots. </p>

<p>Junior<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='309416' first='Lailah' last='Hatcher']</strong> led the Lady Lions from [program_tooltip program_id='715781' first='Link' last='Academy'] with 10 points.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='509519' first='Gabrielle' last='Troy-Mebane'] </strong>added 8 points. Eastern Kentucky University signee<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='245363' first='Bre'Aria' last='Cannon'] </strong>finished with 7 points while freshman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='849007' first='Anaya' last='Perry'] </strong>also chipped in with 7 points. </p>

<p><strong><em>Legacy Early College defeated Life Prep (KS) 59-46 </em></strong></p>

<p>The host Lady Lions jumped out to a 17-2 lead with 2:17 left in the opening quarter. Legacy Early College led at the first quarter 20-3. Life Prep came out strong in the second quarter and outscored the Lady Lions 20-10. Legacy Early College took a 30-23 lead into the halftime intermission. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='252864' first='Mila' last='Holloway']</strong> is headed off to the University of Michigan next season led the way for the Lady Lions with 23 points. Junior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='176612' first='Zhykera' last='Brown']</strong> added 13 points. Junior post player<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='399248' first='Janyia' last='Williams']</strong> finished with 10 points while senior forward<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='275971' first='India' last='Smith']</strong> added 8 points. </p>

<p>Holloway was getting to the rack at ease today for the Lady Lions. Brown is a physical down-hill guard who really likes to overpower defenders on the way to the rack. Williams just does all the little things to help your team win games at the end the of the day with her blue-collar mindset. </p>

<p>Life Prep based out of Kansas battled back and couldn't closer than 7 points all game long. Trailing 43-36 entering the 4th quarter The Fire relied on the strong play from <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='853524' first='Iva' last='Medugorac'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='827728' first='Lili' last='Szabo'].</strong> Medugorac a small forward from Croatia finished with 12 points while Szabo a point guard finished with 14 points while connecting on 4 three-pointers. Senior forward <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='669291' first='Maja' last='Komaszynska']</strong> was kept in check all day long and finished with just 3 points for the Fire. </p>
