With the wave of talent leaving Hebron last season as a result of transfers and graduation, players like Alexa Craig Alexa Craig 5'8" Hebron Christian Academy | 2027 GA will have the chance to step up and make a name for themselves as Christy Brown takes over the program in her first year as head coach. Alexa, like her twin Alyssa, is a very good shooter from the perimeter who has worked hard the last couple years to diversify her game on the offensive end. Whether it was in Ohio at Select Events or at Lakepoint with Hebron, Alexa not only knocked down shots from three-point range but also made shots from 12-15 feet on the perimeter and finished well around the rim. Alexa is definitely the stronger of the two and that should help her get on the court early in Columbus.

Alexa shot the ball really well for FBC NextUp all weekend long. She is another player who really benefits from an offense with consistent player and ball movement. Alexa has a pretty stroke from three and she shoots the ball with a lot of confidence. She has gotten so much stronger in her upper body and shoulder the last couple years that defenders were bouncing off of her when she driving the ball to the basket. Craig was excellent on the boards using her strength and IQ to anticipate where misses were coming off the rim and then snatching the rebound and immediately turning and pushing the ball in transition. Physically, Craig looks like a college player right now and she is another kid who will punish any defense that gives her time and space to shoot from three.
