and Regina Catholic has started off this season as many would expect. They are winning most of their matchups by a convincing margin and making it look easy while doing it. On Tuesday night, Clark scored a game leading 21 points on 9-11 shooting and she tallied 8 rebounds in her teams 25 point win. Clark has some talent. She is someone that we have covered over the past two years because of how much she has stepped up within this program. When teams take away the Regals main options, Clark has always been great at making herself available. She is cutting to the hoop, flashing across her defenders face, and working hard defensively to stop her matchup from scoring. If Regina wants to get back to the state tournament this season, Clark is going to be their second option and other main piece that has to be successful, next to their star PG –

. If those two can continue to do, what they have done so far this season and everyone else steps up near the basket, they could make another run at Des Moines but we will have to wait and see how things play out.

Alli Clark Alli Clark 5'7" | CG Iowa City-Regina | 2024 State IA is going to be a player this upcoming season that is going to have to perform, if her Regina High School team wants to make it back to the State Tournament. Something that I think is more than doable. Clark is an off-guard that stresses the little details of the game, leading to a lot of success on both sides of the floor for herself. Other than having a decent mixture of speed and talent, Clark knows situational basketball. With the type of players that Regina is losing this season, Clark will be her teams second option offensively. If she can knock down shots when the ball is rotated to her and take care of it late in games, this Regals team could make some waves once again this 2023-2024 season. It’s going to take some Will, but if there is a Will, there is a way.

Alli Clark Alli Clark 5'7" | CG Iowa City-Regina | 2024 State IA has been a big piece for the Iowa City-Regina Regals over the past two seasons on their way to the state playoff. Clark, a nicely sized combo guard, is really a play-maker when her team needs it. She isn’t labeled as just as shooter or just an inside presence on the offensive end but more of a swiss-army knife, in the sense that she can give you production in a number of different ways. If we aren’t talking about scoring the ball she also does a good job in a plethora of different areas on the floor, such as rebounding, defending the perimeter, and creating for others when she can’t get a clean look at the basket herself. Clark joins the 2024 rankings at #54. She will look to move up this list during this AAU season with her All Iowa Attack team, something that is do-able if she keeps up her consistent production on the floor no matter her competition.

but it hasn’t seemed like that. Clark has been as productive, if not more productive, than some/most of her teammates this season on a regular basis, including having a 30 point outing and some other high scoring games to go along with it. Clark is going to be a major piece in their game plan tonight. Their big “3” are going to have to put the team on their shoulders and do some work as Sibley brings a roster full of seniors with some strength and size along with them. It’s going to come down to guard play VS post play, a matchup that has lasted the test of time and in this one, a matchup I cannot wait to see. As for Clark she is an interesting story, not highly scouted or recruited up until this year but does a lot of great things for her team on the floor and could definitely help a program at the next level. It’ll be cool to see the interest she received after this high school season comes to a close. She deserves it.

and the Iowa City-Regina Regals tipped off their post-season campaign on Tuesday evening in a contest at home VS Durant, in which they ended up winning by a final score of 77-51. Clark scored a career/game high 30 points on 11/14 shooting. She also had 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 4 assists to add to her explosion on the offensive end. She has been a standout for Regina all year long and it somewhat came as of a surprise. Last season she had a consistent season but nothing to the impact that she has had this go-around. She has been putting on a show in more than one facet of the game consistently and it’s really starting to shine to everyone watching. After coming off of a season where the Regals made the state tournament, this season was going to be a much tougher challenge to return as they lost so much production from their center position. With virtually no height the guard play was going to be crucial and it has been. Being led by the trio of Clark,

. Now we just need to see how far this group can take them without a post presence. A team that is going to have to play fast and efficient to make a deep run.
