Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Myla is developing into a talented and versatile wing-forward prospect. We had her listed as a center based on previous observations, but she’s clearly advanced her ball-handling and shooting abilities. With Myla’s frame, that gives her a higher trajectory at the college level. She attacked off the dribble down the baseline for a finish straight through the net and drilled a pure wing three off the catch. Myla buried another high-arcing triple and shot the ball confidently from the perimeter. She came flying into the paint to secure offensive rebounds, and finished off two feet in transition. Myla contributed 10 points and six rebounds during Saline’s win at the Airport Showcase.

Talladay had herself a day at The Freshman Showcase and showed she will be a top post player in the class of 2028. She had the biggest blocks of the day and proved she will protect the rim at all costs. Talladay fearlessly handled offensive contact and consistently earned free-throw opportunities. I’m expecting a big freshman season for Myla!

Talladay had an impressive day at The Freshman Showcase. She had some huge blocks and did a great job of getting box-outs on defense. Additionally, she read the ball off the rim well on the offensive end, resulting in numerous rebounds. Her footwork around the rim was quite impressive. Myla will definitely be a player to watch over the next four years at Saline.
