She is primed to be a key factor in 5A Division 1 Ridge View continuing its winning ways under former Lower Richland coach Aaron Lucas. Watch out for Gilford if she has the rock behind the 3-point line as she is likely to take – and make – her attempt from deep. Gilford also has rim-attacking capabilities and has no issues going at a taller defender. She has occasions where she will set herself up either at the top of the key or on the wing in hopes of receiving the ball and connecting from deep.
