One can count on Offing to bring it every game she plays for 5A Dutch Fork. She currently holds an offer from Brevard College in the western part of North Carolina. Prep Girls Hoops last saw Offing at the A1 Hoops Report-hosted She Got Next event last month at White Knoll HS in central Lexington County. Offing has displayed her superb scoring, rebounding and floor-running abilities at other events Prep Girls Hoops has attended – including the SCBCA Elite Camp at the North Charleston Athletics Center and over the summer at Dawn Staley’s team camp at the University of South Carolina.

Offing had one can be termed as a classic not how one starts but how one finishes type of game. She had only four points at the half before eventually finding her rhythm to deliver a 12-point performance. Among her valuable hoops attributes is the ability to convert on high-percentage attempts close to the basket. In addition, Offing also is a tenacious rebounder. The ability to make shots from midrange also makes Offing a potent offensive threat and she combines the scoring skills of a big with the ball handling abilities of a one or a two. There is a reason why she was recently offered by Brevard College.

Prep Girls Hoops also got a noteworthy glimpse of Offing at a signature event. That event being a team camp hosted by Dawn Staley and the University of South Carolina. Offing has an offer under her belt – one from Brevard College that she received in August. She is also a two-sport athlete that flourishes as a soccer player alongside hoops. While Offing may typically be placed at one of the forward positions on the floor, she can display impressive handles as if she were a one or a two. As gifted a rebounder and scorer as she is, Offing is a double-double threat on a game-by-game basis.

Offing displayed at the North Charleston Athletics Center exactly why Brevard College, located in the mountains of North Carolina, extended the Silver Foxes star an offer. She proved to be an efficient scorer that can convert on many opportunities she gets near the rim. Her offensive rebounding is another strong suit to her game in addition to her overall interior defense. Offinghas also displayed ball handling capabilities that can put her on par with many guards and she runs the floor with efficiency and precision. She is ready to lead 5A Dutch Fork into battle in 2022-23 – her high school swan song.

Her name rings a recent bell to us at Prep Girls Hoops as she was one of the in-state stars who shined brightly at Dawn Staley’s Gamecocks team camp in June. When she is not making things difficult for opponents on the basketball court, she is doing the same on the soccer pitch. Brevard College, nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina extended Offing an offer, she announced in late August. Versatility is a hallmark of her game as she blends together the handling skills of a guard with the scoring prowess of a three or four. Offing is a double-double threat on a game-by-game basis, plays the game on contact and is a hard-nosed defender who can deliver plenty of blocked shots and steals.

Hillary decided not to play on the Grassroots Circuit this past summer. Offing doesn’t mind mixing it up and bringing her lunchbox to work inside at times. She does a really job of running down rebounds and working to post up and carve out space down low.
